The Missouri Athletic Trainers’ Association (MoATA), is an Approved Provider with the Board of Certification (BOC). All events are therefore designed to improve the overall skill and competency of the BOC Certified Athletic Trainer. Educational content will be directed by the and consistent with the Five (5) Practice Domains identified in the Role Delineation Study/Practice Analysis, Sixth Edition (RD/PA6).

Specific Learning Outcomes related to the conference1. To increase knowledge of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine as a method of pain relieve

conference evaluationAll attendees will receive an email within 1 week of the conference with a link to the conference evaluation form. Please complete this form in a timely manner so that we can assess the benefits to you as a participant, provide feedback to the speakers, and obtain suggestions for future improvement. Once completed, you will be sent your CEU certificate.

deadline for registrationEarly Bird registration is through January 15, 2017. Late and on-site registrations will be an additional $5.00 per person.

refund/cancellation The MoATA will offer a full refund of the general conference registration fees for requests received by the date listed on the registration form. The registration fee is refundable (less $2.00 processing fee) if notification of cancellation is received no later than January 15, 2017. No refunds will be issued past this date. No refunds issued for no-shows.

All refund requests must be sent in writing (postal or email) to and received by Professional Meeting Chair, Scott Winslow [email protected]. Refunds will be issued to the original payer in the same amount as the payment received. Refunds for credit cards will be credited to the same card used for payment. Refunds for cash or check payment will be provided in the form of a check, to be mailed to the address on the registration form within 4-6 weeks of receipt.

In the event a MoATA program is canceled, participants are entitled to a full refund.

For Certified Athletic Trainers, the conference is approved for 4.5 CEU’s through the Missouri Athletic Trainers’ Association. Certificates will be issued following the event after the completion of the conference evaluation.

MoATA grievance PolicyParticipants in any continuing education event presented by the MoATA who have a grievance should submit the grievance in writing to the Professional Meeting Chair within 30 days of the conclusion of the meeting. The Professional Meeting Chair will share the grievance with the MoATA Executive Committee for review and analysis. The MoATA Executive Committee will review the grievance, determine a response, and articulate the outcome to the person filing the grievance.
