GENERAL NOTES ON CREATION AND
DELIVERY
All ad formats need to labelled accordingly.
This informs users that it is an ad, not editorial content.
-w- in one of the four corners, high-contrast type color, min. 9 pt.
If the label is missing, United Internet Media reserves the right to insert it.
Terms of delivery
All ads need to correspond to the defined specifications. United Internet Media will not correct or use any non-compliant elements.
All ad formats are subject to an internal approval process.
Please use maximum three creatives at Exclusive Media. UIM has to be informed previously about the amount of creatives.
Please send standard motifs no later than three working days prior to the start of the campaign to [email protected]. Special ad formats are to be submitted five working days in advance to ensure smooth delivery.

We require the following from our advertisers:
Name of advertising client
United Internet Media IO number
Alt text (if applicable)
Destination URL (works and leads to a fully functional website)
Tags from third-party providers (if applicable)
Detailed trafficking instructions (third-party providers): All advertising material can be provided as tags in the form of iframes or as scripts. If provided as a script, please note that the tags may not contain any self-derterming positioning. If the advertising material is composed of two or more parts, the numer of tags has to match the number of intended advertising material. Tags from third-party providers have to be activ at sight to ensure a thorough check before publishing them.
Retina resolution
The images should be created twice as large to ensure that the ads have a high-quality appearance. If this isn’t possible, please deliver them in their actual final size. For example, a Mobile Banner is to be created in 600x150 pixels with an image size of 300x75 pixels.

This integrates an image in retina resolution. The specified size should be the actual display size (half). The same applies for any third-party ads delivered.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS FOR VIDEO
ADS
Please deliver the following for in-page video ads (current options: Mobile Medium Rectangle Video Ad, Mobile Interstitial Video Ad, Mobile Floor Video Ad):

Background graphic / ad
Please deliver the background graphic in the specified dimensions, file size and file format. It should be designed in such a way that the video will not cover any essential content (with available space for the video if necessary). Example: Mobile Medium Rectangle: 600x500 pixels (retina)
Video Video format: 16:9 (600x340 pixels) or 4:3 (600x450 pixels) Max. length: 30 seconds (we recommend 20 seconds) If the video is integrated via our ad server, we need the raw video in the form of a high-resolution AVI, DV, MPEG2, WMV, MOV or MP4 file. Be sure to deliver the best-possible version of the digital output material. To ensure ideal image quality, the resolution of the raw file should be at least as high as that of the output format, and the bit rate should be over 7 MBit/s. United Internet Media is responsible for encoding. Please be sure to deliver video material without any technical credits, or black, white or otherwise empty frames. To make the strongest impact, the ad starts and finishes with video and sound. Click commands are possible. No autoplay.
Video coordinates We need the coordinates of the top left pixel of the video because it can be placed anywhere on the background graphic.
Video poster / style The video poster is displayed when the video is not playing, e.g. prior to starting. Retina dimensions: 16:9 (600x340 pixels) or 4:3 (600x450 pixels) File format: jpg, gif Max. file size: 40 kb
