2.0 Troubleshooting Viking™ S / XS mobile lift


Simple Troubleshooting

The lift doesn’t work up/down

The charging of the lift’s batterydoesn’t work

The lift stops in the high position

If any noises are heard

1. Make sure that the emergency stop is not been activated.

2. Check the battery voltage.3. Make sure that the control unit cables are

connected correctly.4. Check that the charging cable is not connected

to a wall socket.

If the problem remains, please contact Liko/Hill-Rom.

1. Check to ensure that the emergency stop button is not pressed in during charging.

2. Connect the charger cable to the charger socket under the control unit. Likorall overhead lift: Place the hand control in the charging station.

3. Slide on the Plug adaptor unit* to the Charging module.

4. Connect the charger to a 100-240 V AC electric socket.

5. When the charger is connected a LED indicates: - yellow light indicates charging - green light indicates maintenance charging.

6. A yellow LED at the control unit lights when the charger is connected to the electric socket. Likorall overhead lift: A LED on the hand control will light up and indicates that the charger is connected to a power source.7. Likorall overhead lift: Charging starts automatically and a yellow LED on the lift unit indicates

that the batteries are charging. When the battery is fully charged, the yellow LED turns off.

5.0 Periodic Inspection Information, Viking™ S / XS mobile lift

According to ISO 10535:2006 Annex B, Periodic Inspection of medical device Liko™ mobile lift should be performed at least once a year. For Liko™ mobile lifts Periodic Inspection Liko mobile lifts (3EN371001) is available in Agile and on the Partner Web.

Liko™ lifts must be thoroughly inspected when the Service Light at the Control Unit illuminates (if applicable) or at least once per year. Inspection and service must be carried out by Hill-Rom authorized personnel.
