He began his forage into the telecommunications industry, and specifically MobileMoney at Safaricom Limited back in 2010. At Safaricom, Kennedy worked in, andled teams that were responsible for growing M-PESA’s distribution network, awardwinning innovations such as Merchant Solutions, Mobile Banking Solutions, Micro-finance, Micro-loans, systems migrations and upgrades, and many others.Kennedy left Safaricom in March 2015 to join Kenya’s second largesttelecommunications company, Airtel Kenya with the specific intent of building AirtelMoney services into a strong challenger to M-PESA. To date, Kennedy has helpedgrow Airtel Money’s distribution network and implemented specific programs thathave seen Airtel Money registered customers almost double, and active customersmore than triple in just one year.

Far Loon Yap, Business Development Director,Spire Research and Consulting, MalaysiaFar Loon joined the Spire Research and Consultinggroup in 2012 as the Telecommunication Specialist.Far Loon began his career with Lucent Technologies in2000. He had also held several positions in
Siemens Communications and various European telecom equipmentcompanies. He has had extensive experience in marketing, solutionsand delivering projects in multiple mobile telecommunication domainin areas of Policy Control & Charging, Prepaid System, Roaming, MobileInternet & Content Delivery, SIM and Device Management and GSMVAS.Far Loon graduated from Monash University Australia with a Bachelordegree in Electrical & Computing Engineering (with honours).
