Print and Assign Invoices
The vast majority of Mobile

assign them to the

You can pull work by ROUTE

more advanced, ask your
trainer about it if you do
snow plowing or pest
control.

In practice it is as simple as:
1. Build Route
2. Print and Assign
3. Ready to Go!
The user logs into Mobile
Live and will find their work
ready to run for today.
Estimate Setup
Set these up for Mobile Live:
• Automatically Add A Call In
the Call Log
• Require ‘Estimated by’ after
printing estimates
Hours of Operations and Depot

Day’s Start and End. (Lunch is
not needed)
If you set the Latitude/Longitude
you can fine tune the location
used when you select the “Depot”
Linked Document Setup
Setup the Default Linked
Document Folder path with a
windows shared path (see
example).

It is easiest to load, review, and post one
employee’s day at a time.
Navigating the Mobile Live App
Tablets and phones have limited screen space, but Mobile
Live can provide a great deal of information.
Keep in mind that most screens have a Menu and a
Drawer for the less used (but useful!) actions.
Drawer Menu
Data Entry, and Saving Input
Mobile Live saves everything you do
on the fly; just hit the BACK button
when you enter information and it is
committed.
Just keep in mind:
BACK is SAVE!
Route Listing
The Route Listing is the hub for
everything that happens in Mobile
Live.
It all starts here:
• Estimates
• Production
• Work Orders
• Customer Search
• Etc.
This screen is also where
your work is Uploaded
and Downloaded
(Sync’d) automatically.

This is the most common
method, where the work
is optimized in Route
Assistant and printed,
where a date and

This is not as common, but
a great way to list the
work by appointment or
sequence. Ideal for when
appointments or time-
windows.

By Route & Date
Set which view you wish to use by selecting ROUTE in Route Listing.
Default is by Technician and Date when set to (Empty).

here we can find a variety

Technician with Production Entry Access
These are the minimal
security settings that we
recommend.
One exception is Run
Routing Utilities, as this
turns off access to Setup
Route.
Technician with View Account Access
These are the settings we
recommend if you want to
give the technician access to
the account information, but
not to add, edit, or change
information therein.
Technician with Full Account Access
These are the settings you
would set to give unlimited
access to the customer
accounts, and their
program/jobs.
Not suggested if you are not
sure if that level of access
should be granted.
Time Clock
Punched Out Punched In
Mobile Live will make a
secure connection to
Service Assistant and use
the Time Clock there to
record punches.
Customer Search
Customer search allows us
to look customers up and
access their account.
The initial search will bring
down a list of closest
customers to the current
location, or, advanced
search can be used to find a
specific set of customers.
Remember, “Less is More” –
the more specific your
search the fewer results. We
suggest keeping it simple,
such as Last Name + Street
Name, etc.
* Access may be disabled via Security.
Service Search
Service search allows us to
locate, and pull, available
work to Mobile Live.
The work will be listed based
on the current location.
If the work has already been
printed you will need to use
the Invoice Scan feature to
get it on your Route Listing.
* Access may be disabled via Security.
Invoice Scan
Invoice Scan is used to
reassign a printed invoice to
the current user.
This is similar to using Route
Loose Work in SA.
The invoice number can be
entered manually or scanned
by tapping on the barcode
image.
* Access may be disabled via Security.
Modify Route
Drag-and-Drop jobs for
today
Check boxes and
“Re-Route Selected”
or
* Access may be disabled via Admin Tool.
Production Status
Production Status displays a
snapshot of today’s work.
This may help the driver’s
keep track of their goals
throughout the day.
The report shows much has
been completed, how much
is remaining by dollars, size
and service code.
Notes Review
Notes Review allows the
user to scroll through the
days notes for each stop by
hitting Next and Previous
buttons.
Update Vehicle & Odometer
Vehicles that have been
setup in SA can be selected
and assigned to a technician
in Mobile Live.
Once the vehicle is selected
we will ask for the odometer
update.
There are options in the
admin tool that make this a
required activity.
