‘Solstice™’ series projector screen by Mocomtech is an ultra-high Gain optical 2D/HD/3D screen designed to be suitable under any lighting condition including the brightest of ambient lights. Innovative material and process used for producing Solstice enables 18/23- times higher brightness when compared to a standard matte white screen.

One of the key features of Solstice™ series is its specially designed, precise lens-like curvature that nearly eliminates hot-spotting. In addition, the curvature has focusing effect and only allows the reflection of the lights originating from the projector while diffusing ambient lights. This characteristic of Solstice series eliminates interference between the ambient light and the light from the projector enabling the audiences to experience vivid colors with sharpest possible images.

Solstice™ series is engineered to overcome the challenges that current 3D projection has encountered. It provides amplified 3D presence effect by adopting the simulator screen technology.

Precise lens-like curvature prevents hot-spotting and rejects light that is from the ambient sources. In addition, the curvature enhances the effect of 3D presence by increasing perceived depth.

The micro-fine diffusion lines (<10㎛) along the scanning axis and the micron-sized surface particle (<5㎛) allow displaying of the highest possible resolution and express the images as they are truly meant to be.

High polarization reflection for passive 3d

Cross-talk common known as Ghosting is inevitable on most 3D Silver Screens due to low polarization preservation. However, Solstice screen is designed with a material that reflects highest possible polarization - 99.9%. It virtually eliminates cross-talk / ghosting and allows for the best 3D images.

Dupic screens are made of a new film technology for the projection screens that has been optimized to transmit 50% of the incident light while reflecting 50% of the remaining light. When applied to an acrylic panel and suspended in the middle of an open space, video images of equal brightness and quality can be viewed from both sides of the panel - 360° viewing experience without over hanging heavy equipment. The adhesive type can be applied easily on to transparent surfaces such as the store windows. For traditional rear-screen applications, DUPIC screen is superior to conventional film screens in that it provides even distribution of light from corner-to-corner without hot-spots.

Dupic film with twice improved refractive index processes the light by equally refracting (1:1) the incident light from a projector. Film (D) transmits 50% of the projected light (G) (G -> G") and refracts and reflects the remaining 50% of the light (B) to the direction of incidence (B -> B").
