Installation
2. Verify you received everything listed on the packing list.
1. Ensure that you have removed all equipment from the shipping box.
3. Mount the CDS 1000 at a height & angle ensuring ease of accessibility and visibility.
4. Apply a thin layer of Oxygen safe lubricant to the knob threads to avoid corrosion.
8. Allow slack in each cable to permit the CDS 1000 to rotate forward for rear panel access.
6. Apply a thin layer of Oxygen safe lubricant to the connector threads to avoid corrosion.
7. Install cables and connect to rear panel. Ensure that each connector is "hand-tight".
5. Avoid installing the unit under piping that defrosts or near pumps that spray liquid.
10. NOTE: The "POWER" is polarity insensitive.
9. Terminate the "POWER" cable at the battery or most direct input source to avoid interference.
11. We recommend that "POWER" be direct to source.
12. Install the 1000ohm probe. (downstream of the turbine) and connect the temperature cable.
15. Press CDS 1000 ON/OFF Button and observe LED lights are on or flashing.
