Introduction

The purpose of this Style Guide is to preserve the look and feel of the five available templates (shown on the left). They were carefully crafted to promote your company’s marketing message in the most impactful way, ultimately supporting the perceived value of Gartner content. Following the guide will ensure the integrity of the original designs.

The templates have different characteristics that make each unique. The Contemporary template is a new template choice. We have decided to retire the Classic template. One characteristic is the underlying grid struc-ture which highlights the editorial content in varied ways. Other elements include your choice of color selection and visual imagery which all support each concept.

Word and character counts are specified for editorial content. In some instances, word counts are used to identify full pages while character counts are used to identify smaller, more specific areas.

Exact dimensions for graphics and spacing are also provided.

MODERN Newsletter

This template has a sleek and sophisticated charm. Setting the text in a sans-serif font sets the tone for a modern look and feel. The geometric shapes in contrasting colors embody the strikingly rich yet clean and uncluttered quality of the piece. A modern choice of vibrant colors, fonts, and three-column grid all give the piece a cutting-edge appeal.

You will be able to choose two accent colors to replace the ones shown in the example on the left. Colors should compliment each other for effective contrast.

1. You may choose your own brand color combinations. Colors should be bold to maintain the modern appeal of this template.

Client logo needs to fit in designated area. This logo must be centered horizontally and vertically in that space. A minimum of .50” whitespace must be maintained all around.
