1. The diagram shows a solid consisting of a half-cylinder and a prism joined at the
plane ABSR. The base of the solid is on a horizontal plane. The horizontal plane
ABCDE is the uniform cross-section of the prism. AE = RV = 6 cm, ST = TU and
T is 2 cm from RV.
Draw to full scale,
(a) the plan of the solid, [4 marks]
(b) its elevation on a vertical plane parallel to RS as viewed from X, [4 marks]
(c) its elevation on a vertical plane parallel to RV as viewed from Y. [4 marks]

2. The marks of 40 students in an English test are as follows.
(a) Based on the above data and by using a class interval of 5, complete the following table. [3 marks]
