I believe my enthusiasm to become an effective and committed “Data Network Engineering expert/manager” is my greatest asset. I have the accountability for leading several teams to do: - Technology selection - Vendor selection - RFQ, RFP, RFI Writing / Development - Cooperation With Orange HQ to sync our future planes “we contributed several times in Orange skill center RFP’s” - Leading lab team to test new “scenarios, technologies, devices” using advanced traffic generators and latest equipment from several vendors - Data Network Simulation for “new designs, traffic capacity increase, new configuration change verification before implementation and generating single & double failure what if scenarios” - Leading a huge project to construct a single SDN/NFV cloud inside Orange - Manage several project during all phases: o Leads phase: Discover a new technology/product that can solve engineering problems or reduce CAPEX/OPEX Start gathering info from all available resources Baselines: include the scope, schedule, and cost baselines o Pursuits phase: Define roles and responsibilities: Project sponsor, Designated business experts, Project manager, Project team, End users Convince top management to allocate budget Ask vendors for POC’s Building relations with vendors engineering team’s Writing RFQ/RFP o RFQ/RFP phase: Interviews More POC’s Vendor selection process Announcing the winner o Implementation phase: Prepare the infrastructure Coordinate with the organizations involved in implementation Implement training Install the production solution Perform final verification in production Monitor the solution
During last years, I have developed a solid reputation for successfully managing innumerous concurrent projects through all project phases from design through completion within targeted cost, schedule, and compliance parameters. I am certain I can contribute this level of performance to your team, and I invite you to consider my qualifications and accomplishments for the current listed position.
My experience and achievements includes: - Experience: 16+ years of productive full life cycle of Data Network projects, coupled with support and technical experience in Data Network/GSM packet core. - Results: Successful Project Implementation of 25+ projects with multimillion dollars. - Top Cortication’s: PMP certification and CISCO certification Internetwork Expert written (CCIE written) writing
I feel confident that I can bring an excellent professional experience to your organization and I welcome the opportunity to speak with you personally to explore ways in which I can make a substantial contribution to your company. My

1. Turn all business requirements to RFPs “Write, edit, and format content”2. Continuous monitoring for new products/Technologies, responsible for final decision whether to pursue a product/Technology.3. Coordinate the scheduling and production of proposals and RFP responses with procurement team, finance, Vendor “Sales and engineering teams” and administrative staff.4. Monitoring project timing to give other groups sufficient time, Ensure documents are completed without a last-minute rush. 5. Ensure that Vendor proposals and RFP are compelling, ensure that proposals and RFP responses are in full compliance with Orange specifica-tions and follow product pricing and discount negotiations. 6. Leading group of engineers to create single SDN/NFV in Orange Egypt for Telecommunication: This includes creating new network design to submerge all IP networks “Access, Core, Fixed and Data Center” also we are working on POC’s with multiple vendors “include Open Source products”. By the end of this task we will create a RFP that includes Orange requirements. 7. leading simulation team to do Failure analysis for Corp/MPLS Core/Packet Core Networks health check in normal and failure conditions “Links/Nodes”: To discover the violations to the dimensioning rules in normal and failure conditions, and we use the result of this study to take the corrective actions in configurations and transmission. Example for global dimensioning rules: No VOIP drops in (normal or single failure of HW or transmission) and 30% drop in case (double failure of HW or transmission)9. Capacity planning for different services forecasts: study all traffic increase requests from internal teams taking QoS and failures in consideration, and specifying the required topology changes that consideration the traffic forecasts with no violations for global dimensioning rules. Examples for studies: Bandwidth assessment for VOIP traffic increase 25Gpbs between location X & Location Y in LLQ class “during VOIP peak hours from X AM to X PM”. 10. Services design assessment: getting the transmission savings for a long term forecast.11. Core MPLS architecture new designs assessment: Discovering the pros and cons of the new designs in terms of availability, capacity and budget savings.

Leading installation project for 50,000 Telephone line for Telecom Egypt : in 44 MSC’s during 1 year using Pair Gain technology for IPM Company. (Pair Gain technology Method of transmitting multiple POTS signals over the twisted pairs traditionally used for a single traditional POTS signals over the twisted pairs traditionally used for a single traditional subscriber line in telephone systems. Pair gain has the effect of creating additional subscriber lines. This is typically used as an expedient way to solve subscriber line shortage problems by using existing wiring, instead of installing new wires from the central office to the customer premises)

1. Data Network Clean-up: Removing unused configuration from Cisco/Juniper Devices, adjusting current routing/switching configuration , shutting down unused interfaces, remove duplicate IP’s , adjusting Ethernet Port duplex type, etc. This project includes (creating configuration standard, follow-up the project).2. Data Network Simulation: Network Design and Capacity Planning tool for multi-technology and multi-vendor networks, My deployment in Orange Egypt is one of the best deployments worldwide and is competitive to Verizon in US and OPNET recognizes us as a reference model.3. Core MPLS / PaCo performance: Discover IP performance problems in Core MPLS and PaCo domains and solve them using several tools, during this project we communi-cated and solved problems beyond our domains.4. EOL/EOS: Generating EOL/EOS policy and replacing 120 EOL device. This project includes (creating EOL/EOS replacement process, tendering the project, follow-up the project).5. Eliminating Single Point of Failure SPF: study and change network topology several times to Eliminate Single Point of Failure.6. Mobile Packet Core Simulation: working with OPENT Company to get more accurate simulated topology for mobile packet core.
