SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS Leslie R. George

The Papillion High School annual staff is to be commended for a fine collection of facts and fantasy gathered within the covers of the 1963 Monarch. The facts , in future years to refresh memories of bygone days , the fancy to bring back the feelings of the sentimental and the frivolous , are all bound together in a volume of treasures which will be cherished in future years .

To this Senior Class I wish to extend my thanks for making the teaching profession truly worthwhile for it is through these fine young people that true satisfaction is found .

If you face the future with the same courage , work and faith , you will find only success in your paths.

Leslie R. George

BOARD OF EDUCATION: Elton Sen1ke , Barney Schram, Delbert Mesner , John Ward, Jr., Clayton Hyde, -Robert Boese.

~--- \-HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL

John H. Kleffner

Each year the annual staff creates in pictures the curriculum of the high school. This the sum total of the learning experiences which come under the direction of the high school staff. Most of a student' s time is spent in pursuit of academic knowledge, but a very important portion of his time and energy is devoted to out-of-class activities. Some of these will have influenced his life and abide in his memory forever.

May this curriculum have influenced each student to be a credit to himself, his family, his school and his country. May God help you to make all of life s decisions correctly .

John H. Kleffner
