INTRODUCTION TO THE REVOLUTIONARY – SCHÜBER LEARNING METHOD A school is defined as an institution designed to provide learning environments for the teaching of students under the direction of teachers. Über, now a popular German word means "above", "over" or "across", that led us to conceive of an ideal learning platform suited to today’s high-‐tech learning environments – the schüber method. PanAm’s schüber is the learning space Quest of the 21st Century, above, over, and across outdated, brick and mortar, institutions. The learning space is online and digital. Fake news has now become common knowledge, we posit and have long foreseen that ‘fake views’ will be the next phase of public awareness. For more than one hundred years, public schools and popular media have mandated ‘fake views’ of so many facets of history, science, culture, politics, religion, and a host of other subjects; it is now becoming widely exposed that there are alternative viewpoints that have become mainstream and hold much of tomorrow’s future.
What could be more instructive to make a study of these alternative viewpoints as a course of intriguing study while at the same time earning your doctorate degree and a title of nobility? Progressive and adept students can now 'hitch a ride' with Schüber and the Knights of Hope of the 21st Century. By dialing up the Schüber URL, one can now register online for a new educational experience: sacredmonasticorder.org Schuber’s online doctoral degree programs get you started on your graduation path from the very first course, with curriculum designed to help you move forward from day one to quick comprehension and completion as you work at your own pace. Pursuing a doctorate of course takes focus, drive, and a dedication to scholarship, but Schüber's approach recognizes life experiences combined with video documentaries which makes the process fun and enlightening. It’s not an arduous task but a vivid learning experience for those who want to advance their field, discover new vistas, cultivate new knowledge and obtain credentials.
Simply choose a unique, high-‐quality, online master’s and doctoral program from this historic university
for a rewarding, academic experience. DEGREE OFFERINGS Schuber offers professional bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate studies, including: Bachelor of Arts, Master’s of Arts, Doctor of Philosophy, and Doctor of Arts. When you enroll in our School, you are admitted as postulant (from Latin: postulare, to ask); hence, a candidate. When you complete the Bachelor’s course, you become "deacon", a word derived from the Greek word diákonos (διάκονος), meaning "waiting-‐man" (for master’s study), or "messenger" (of knowledge). The length of time that a prospective candidate remains a postulant may vary depending on the speed at which you complete your studies. It could be as little as one month, or as long as one year. The choice is yours. After one year of inactivity, the postulant is
registered with the School, however, as inactive if the Bachelor’s online program is not completed. GRADUATION Historically, a universitas was a European guild or union of masters (MA’s) who had a license to teach, usually from the Church. Both "degree" and "graduate" come from gradus, meaning "step"; the first step was admission to a bachelor’s degree, followed by the second -‐ masters step -‐ which won the graduate admission to the postulants (candidates). The gowns and hoods which characterise academic dress have evolved from the historic dress of university staff in the Middle Ages, which was in turn based on the attire worn by medieval clergy.
University graduation ceremonies are part of an 800-‐year tradition which stretches back to the establishment of the first universities in Europe in the 12th century, when Latin was the language of scholarship. Knights were members of the noble class pledged to the king's (or emperor's, as the case may be) service as Christian warriors. Knighthood or Damehood is vested in the qualified individual by chivalric and canonical “investiture”. The investiture was the action of formally investing a person with honors or rank, e.g. "the investiture of bishops", as a ceremony at which honors or rank are formally conferred on a particular person. We follow that time-‐honored tradition.
Knights were expected to adhere to a strict moral code called the code of chivalry, though the specific tenets of this code evolved over time. Early on, chivalry was strictly a military code of conduct, dictating loyalty to God and country above all. Eventually chivalry evolved to imply loyalty, courage, valor and courtesy, but also defense of the weak, defense of women's honor, and service to God at all times. Dedicating one’s life to Chivalry in our Order of Hope, as a legendary historical institution with ancient roots, sets into motion a spiritual and information physics, involving brain waves interacting with subtle energy fields described by 1st
century early Christians as “the workings of the Holy Spirit”. Through these mechanics of consciousness, the new Knight or Dame literally “taps into” the collective accumulated energies, thoughts, emotions, knowledge, morals, values, and historical missions from over several thousands of years of ancient scholarship and Priesthood. All of these energies, guided by the Holy Spirit, then become an active driving force in one’s life, stimulating inspiration of purpose, synchronicity of opportunities, and what is described by the ancients as the fulfillment of one’s “destiny”, a vocation (call to God), following God’s greater plan for each of us.

Note on Accreditation Accreditation is the recent process in which certification of competency, authority, or credibility is presented by a secular institution. In most countries around the world, the function of educational accreditation for secular schools of higher education is conducted by a government organization while religious schools can remain autonomous. Organizations that issue these ‘credentials’ are ‘certified’ by third parties by self-‐imposed ‘official standards’ which are themselves formally accredited by secular bodies within their niche matrix. Since Schüber represents the very antithesis of establishment conformity, we as monks and nuns, surrender not. Schüber advocates heuristic, learning tradition (Ancient Greek: εὑρίσκω, "find" or "discover"), which is any approach to problem solving, learning, or discovery by individuals for soul growth that employs a practical, self-‐chosen method. It is not guaranteed to be optimal
or perfect, but more than sufficient for the immediate goals of the free individual. Where finding an optimal solution is impossible or impractical in a constrictive and oppressive matrix, heuristic methods can be used to speed up the life process outside of the mainstream by finding a satisfactory yet highly individualistic solution. Heuristics can be seen as mental shortcuts that ease the cognitive load of making righteous decisions. Examples of this method include using a rule of thumb, an educated guess, an intuitive judgment, stereotyping, profiling, or just plain common sense. Thus one follows their vocation (call to God) and becomes accredited (officially recognized or authorized) by God and the Kingdom, rather than by man down below. One’s vocation is fulfilled by their own monastic ‘call to God.’

1. Bachelor’s of Alternative Human History (M.A. H.H.) – First Course Free upon Enrollment
Description: In the 20th century, public institutions generally taught such popular and mundane topics as Darwinian evolution, how Columbus 'discovered America,' Newton's apple gravity theory, how 'science' debunked vitalism, space alien contact as a theory of Hollywood film producers, and a litany of pivotal falsehoods that were actually proffered to an unsuspecting generation of indentured servants. Thanks to technology and hundreds of investigative minds who thought 'out of the box,' we now have hundreds of documentaries that expose extraordinary discoveries, once considered bizarre, but we now know not to be unique or even uncommon. There are literally thousands of them, collecting dust, locked away from public scrutiny in the vaults of museums, private libraries, and government archives throughout the world. From Dead Sea Scrolls, to secret laboratories and libraries, to museum artifacts, to inquisitions, to world wars, to alien contacts, thousands of pieces of evidence now point to a vast conspiracy of cover ups both by Church and State. Advanced humans have now reached the breaking point where any history story, anthropological theory or scientific viewpoint, proffered by establishment sources simply cannot be trusted.
In fact, evidence points to a vast conspiracy of secret cabals and cartels of ancient human origins that today operate in a corporate and interlocking banking matrix with the intent to fully control human destiny, variously labeled as a 'new world order' or globalist agenda and other names. The important point we posit, is that having one's mind locked in false views and 'fake' realities, stymies human development of universal good and world peace. This course program is your Schüber fast track to understand essential and vital topics that leads to a rapid gestalt or holism, what has taken many in the 20th century an entire lifetime to unravel. This first bachelor’s program completes this task for you within 100 hours while giving you a mastery of understanding global topics and issues from this alternative perspective. From there, it is easy to investigate and substantiate your reality by simply searching the internet. Upon completion of this course program, you are ready to advance into one of Schüber’s master’s and doctorate programs with a fresh frame of mind.

The thesis project or any querries can be submitted to the Dean at this email: [email protected]
Ancient Civilizations & Cultures Description: A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots. (Marcus Garvey) History is Philosophy teaching by examples. (Thucydides) The first lesson of history is the good of evil. (Ralph Waldo Emerson) If you are hungry for finding out about the past, History may be the subject for you. If you still need some persuading, why not look at this list of reasons to study History:
1. Transferable skills: Studying History provides a student with skills which are not confined to the study of the past. Skills of analysis are invaluable in many jobs, and the ability to analyse and then prioritize information is vital to decision making. This not only provides a skills set for a student but it also keeps career options open.
2. History is always relevant as it is bound to repeat itself: History enables us to understand how the world worked then and how it works now. History provides us with the framework of knowledge that we need to build our entire lives. It takes us closer to happenings and events in the past we can know about and learn how things have changed ever since, and who were the figures and personalities that helped change the scenario. In this way, the study of History is explicitly relevant to everything. 3. A History degree is an investment in your future: A degree in History can be an impressive and attractive feature on a CV. When history is studied, one easily identifies other learned men and women of substance. 4. A degree in History encourages independence. By looking at the history of different cultures, a History student can build up a better understanding of why certain peoples act the way they do by having broad cultural awareness. 5. A History degree allows us to learn from the past. Particular patterns which tend to repeat themselves, whether it is the role of charismatic dictators, or the significance of Religion in human conflict, humans have an astounding habit of ignoring the obvious contributing factors which can lead to war and oppression. It is then the job of the Historian to identify where we have been going wrong, comment on it, and attempt to avoid problems in the future.

Angelology & Hagiology: Doctrine of Angels & Saints Description: Divine Encounters are the ultimate human experience—the maximal, the utmost possible when alive, as when Moses encountered the Lord upon Mount Sinai; and the final, terminal, and conclusive, as that of Egyptian Pharaohs who at death assumed an eternal Afterlife by joining the gods in their Divine Abode. The human experience of Divine Encounters as recorded in scriptures and texts from the ancient Near East is a most amazing and fascinating saga. It is a powerful drama that spans Heaven and Earth, involving worship and devotion, eternity and morality on the one hand, and love and sex, jealousy and murder on the other; ascents unto space and journeys to the Netherworld. A stage on which the actors are gods and goddesses, angels and demigods, Earthlings and androids; a drama expressed in prophecies and visions, in dreams and omens and oracles and revelations. It is a story of Man, separated from his Creator, seeking to restore a primeval umbilical cord and by so doing, reach for the stars. Divine Encounters are the ultimate human experience perhaps because they were also the very first human experience; for when God created Man, Man met God at the very moment of being created.
7
An angel is a spiritual being superior to humans in power and intelligence. Angels are typically described as benevolent and endowed with wisdom and knowledge of earthly events, but not infallible; for they strive with each other, and God has to make peace between them. Most of them serve either as intermediaries between Heaven and Earth, or as guardian spirits. They are studied in the theological doctrine of angelology. In Christian Science, the word "angel" is used to refer to an inspiration from God. Angels are referred to in connection with their spiritual missions; as for instance, the "angel which has redeemed", "an interpreter", "the angel that destroyed", "the messenger of the covenant", "angel of his presence", and "a band of angels of evil". In fine art, angels are usually depicted as having the shape of human beings of extraordinary beauty; they are often identified using the symbols of bird wings, halos, and light.
Hagiology is the study of literature dealing with the lives of saints. Christian hagiographies focus on the lives and miracles of men and women canonized by the Roman Catholic church, the Anglican Communion, the Eastern Orthodox Church, the Oriental Orthodox churches, and the Church of the East. Other religions such as Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Sikhism and Jainism also create and maintain hagiographical texts and the lives of saints and angels goes back to the beginning of human history. Hagiographic works, especially those of the Middle Ages, incorporates a record of institutional and local histories, and evidence of miracles, healings, popular cults, customs, and traditions. Thus, it constitutes an essential study of human history but is ignored in secular institutions. Supernatural Incorruptibility is a Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox belief that divine intervention allows some human bodies (specifically saints) to avoid the normal process of decomposition after death as a sign of their holiness. Bodies that undergo little or no decomposition, or delayed decomposition, are sometimes referred to as incorrupt or incorruptible, as has been repeatedly documented since the Passion.

Bible Studies Description: It’s the world’s all-‐time best-‐selling book and has been read and studied by billions over the past 2,000 years. Yet, after all this time, there are still so many mysteries and unanswered questions about the Bible: Who wrote it? How old is it? And is it accurate? From the moral codes of the Old Testament to the apocalyptic predictions of the Book of Revelation, HISTORY’s new series, Bible Secrets Revealed, seeks to answer those very questions. Over the course of these videos, scholars, archaeologists and religious leaders will elucidate the Bible as a historical document, treat viewers to stunning, on-‐location photography and compelling reenactments while revealing hidden facts and shocking information about this ancient text. Hermeneutics is the science of interpretation of the Scriptures. THE DEAD SEA SCROLLS, found in caves near the Dead Sea, fifteen miles east of Jerusalem from 1947 to 1956, include the oldest existing biblical manuscripts and the remarkable texts of the purist Jewish community at Qumran. The discovery of the scrolls has added dramatically to our understanding of the varieties of Judaism at the time of Jesus and the rise of Christianity, but has also promoted heated debate about the nature of these religions. As the monumental task of transcribing and translating the Dead Sea Scrolls is finally completed, people around the world are taking stock of the significance of these ancient documents. In this study, one of the world's foremost experts on the scrolls reveals the complete and fascinating story in all its detail: the amazing discovery, the intense controversies, and the significant revelations.

Christology (Life of Jesus) Description: Virtually all modern scholars of antiquity agree that Jesus existed historically, although the quest for the historical Jesus has produced little agreement on the historical reliability of the Gospels and on how closely the biblical Jesus reflects the true historical Jesus. Jesus was a Galilean Jew who was baptized by John the Baptist and subsequently began his own ministry, preaching his message orally and often being referred to as "rabbi". He was arrested and tried by the Jewish authorities, and was crucified by the order of Pontius Pilate, the Roman prefect. Jesus debated fellow Jews on how to best follow God, performed healings, taught in parables and gathered followers. After his death, his followers believed he rose from the dead, and the community they formed eventually became the Christian Church. This course examines all these differing topics and aspects.

Civilizations Description: The continuing legacies of past civilizations can help explain how different cultures have developed over time, show how the past greatly influences all our lives, and cultivate a respect for other cultures. It can also convey a message that these civilizations have remained virtually unchanged through time, unlike the West, and cultivate a false view of other peoples as less "modern." The negative impact of the assumption that other cultures are not as modern as the West surfaces when Westerners make judgments, business deals, and policy decisions based on this assumption. Although Legacy aspires to the former objective, it often ends up fulfilling the latter. For example, the following statements by writer and presenter Michael Wood exemplify how the language Westerners often use to talk about non-‐Western peoples relegates them to a space and time outside of a Western view of the universe: "Two conceptions of civilization have fought for the soul of the peoples of the Americas, one foreign and recent, that of the West, the other ancient and native;" "For over 2000 years, China has been sustained by ideas virtually unchanged since the Bronze Age." Throughout the course, comments like the ones above and the relative absence of images of people creating and using modern technology make it difficult for viewers to see the integral roles non-‐Western peoples occupy in the present.

History of the Crusades of Christendom Description: The Crusades were a series of religious wars sanctioned by the Latin Church in the medieval period, especially the campaigns in the Eastern Mediterranean aimed at recovering the Holy Land from Islamic rule. The term "Crusades" is now also applied to other campaigns fought to combat paganism and heresy; to resolve political conflicts among rival groups; to campaign against perceived wrongs; to foster better medical care; or to gain political or territorial advantage. What most do not realize is how the first Crusades were the battles between Christianity and Islam, which continues to this day; led later to the 'American Crusade' -‐ the exploitations of the New World, and the crusade for health which began after the black death of Europe. The Crusades essentially changed the entire landscape of humanity and persist in various forms to this day. These exciting videos bring all this to life and historical context for a better understanding of today’s human conditions.

Demonology: Doctrine of Demons Description: Demonology is the study of demons or beliefs about demons, especially the methods used to summon and control them. The original sense of "demon", from the time of Homer onward, was a benevolent being, but in English the name now holds connotations of malevolence. Demons, when regarded as spirits, may belong to either of the classes of spirits recognized by primitive animism. They may be human, or non-‐human, separable souls, or discarnate spirits which have never inhabited a body. A sharp distinction is often drawn between these two classes, notably by the Melanesians, several African groups, and others. The Arab jinn, for example, are not reducible to modified human souls. At the same time these classes are frequently conceived as producing identical results, e.g. diseases and possessions. According to some societies, all the affairs of life are supposed to be under the control of spirits, each ruling a certain "element" or even object, and themselves in subjection to a greater spirit. In ancient Babylon, demonology had an influence on even the most mundane elements of life, from petty annoyances to the emotions of love and hatred. The numerous demonic spirits were given charge over various parts of the human body, one for the head, one for the neck, and so on. Greek philosophers such as Porphyry, who claimed influence from Platonism, and the fathers of the Christian Church, held that the world was pervaded with spirits, the latter of whom advanced the belief that demons received the worship directed at pagan gods. Many religions and cultures believe, or once believed, that what is now known as soothsaying, was, or is, a form of physical contact with demons.

History of Apothecary Description: Apothecary is one term for a medical professional who formulates and dispenses materia medica to physicians, surgeons and patients. The modern pharmacist (also colloquially referred to as a chemist in British English) has taken over this role and in some languages and regions the word is still used to refer to a retail pharmacy or a pharmacist who owns one. The apothecaries' investigation of herbal and chemical ingredients was a precursor to the modern sciences of chemistry and pharmacology. As a religious art and therapeutic, Ecclesiastical Apothecary encompasses treatment of illness by using a system of beliefs that bases treatment of God given functions through nursing abnormal conditions based on natural laws governing the human body. Ecclesiastical apothecary is the sum total of the knowledge, skills, and practices based on the theories, beliefs, and experiences indigenous to Christian culture, whether explicable or not, used in the restoration and maintenance of health as well as in the prevention, diagnosis, improvement or treatment of physical, mental and spiritual illness.

History of the Knights Hospitallers Description: The Order of Knights of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem (Latin: Ordo Fratrum Hospitalis Sancti Ioannis Hierosolymitani), also known as the Order of Saint John, Order of Hospitallers, Knights Hospitaller, began as the medieval Catholic military order that continued into the contemporary Sovereign Military Order of Malta, the Venerable Order of St. John Ambulance (England), the Hereditary Order of the Knights of St. John (Italy), the Sovereign Order of St. John (Russia), and others. It was originally headquartered in the Kingdom of Jerusalem, later Rhodes and Malta, until it became known by its current names. The Hospitallers arose, in the early 12th century, at the time of the great monastic reformation, as a group of individuals associated with an Amalfitan hospital in the Muristan district of Jerusalem, dedicated to John the Baptist and founded around 1023 by Gerard Thom to provide care for sick, poor or injured pilgrims coming to the Holy Land. The Knights Hospitaller and Knights Templar were the most formidable military Orders during the Crusades and change the course of Western history as this course reviews.

The history of the Knight’s Hospitaller begins in second half of the eleventh century, as a hospice for the poor and sick. Unlike most orders of warrior monks established during the Crusades, the Hospitallers were founded as a non-‐military religious order dedicated to providing compassionate care, following the example of Jesus Christ in caring the poor and sick. Within a century the order had moved from a poor religious order maintaining a hospice for sick pilgrims in the Holy Land, to a supra-‐national order with papal protection, and an expanded purpose as military guard protecting the crusader states of the Holy Land. Even as a military order, the Knights Hospitaller never abandoned their original purpose of providing a place of care for the sick and poor. They were not only noted for the military defenses and churches they built, but also for the hospitals that occupied the center of their fortifications. In the provision of medical attention, they were indifferent to race, economic, social, or religious status, providing care for friend and foe alike. Because they were established at a crossroads of the world, they were exposed to all systems of medicine available at the time, and utilized this vast knowledge to provide the most effective medical care available. Their achievements in medicine and establishment of hospitals continued until their expulsion from Malta in 1798 by Napoleon Bonaparte. Most scholarly reference and research of the Knights Hospitaller have focused on the military, religious, and political activities and achievements of the Order, while reducing their medical achievements to footnotes. The foundation upon which the Knight’s Hospitaller was established is in the teachings of Jesus Christ. The ministry of Jesus was presented in three ways-‐-‐-‐ preaching, teaching and healing. He proclaimed and explained the Kingdom of God, while showing compassion and mercy to man through healing in order to glorify God. His ministry was taught to and continued through his disciples through their preaching, teaching, and healing. It was through the expression of compassion and mercy in caring for the poor and sick that members of the Order felt they could best exemplify the message of Christ and keep the commandments of first loving God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength, and next loving your neighbor as yourself. The Order practiced a medicine that was both curative and palliative, recognizing the importance of always treating the whole person, mind, body, and spirit.

History of the Knights Templar History Description: The Poor Fellow-‐Soldiers of Christ of the Temple of Solomon (Latin: Pauperes commilitones Christi Templique Salomonici), also known as the Knights Templar, was a Christian military order founded in 1119. The order, which was among the wealthiest and most powerful, became a favored charity throughout Christendom and grew rapidly in membership and power. They were prominent in Christian finance and started European banking methods. Templar knights, in their distinctive white mantles with a red cross, were among the most skilled fighting units of the Crusades. Non-‐combatant members of the order managed a large economic infrastructure throughout Christendom, developing innovative financial techniques that were an early form of banking, and building fortifications across Europe and the Holy Land. The Templars were closely tied to the Crusades; when the Holy Land was lost, support for the order faded. Rumors about the Templars' secret initiation ceremony created distrust, and King Philip IV of France – deeply in debt to the order – brutally took advantage of the situation to gain control over them by inquisition. In 1307, Friday the 13th, he had many of the order's members in France arrested, tortured into giving false confessions, and burned at the stake. Pope Clement V disbanded the order in 1312 under pressure from King Philip. The trials over several years is now known to have been a scam and the Order was officially exonerated by the Pope. The abrupt reduction in power of a significant group in European society gave rise to speculation, legend, and legacy through the ages. The re-‐use of their name for later organizations has kept the name "Templar" alive to the modern day.

The Templars: The Secret History Revealed by Barbara Frale, Umberto Eco (Forward) At its height, the Order of the Knights Templar rivaled the kingdoms of Europe in military might, economic power, and political influence. For 700 years the tragic demise of this society of warrior-‐monks amid accusations of heresy has been plagued by controversy, in part because the transcript of their trial by the Inquisition which held the key to the truth had vanished. Templar historian Barbara Frale happened to be studying a document at the Vatican Secret Archives when she suddenly realized that it was none other than the long-‐lost transcript! It revealed that Pope Clement V had absolved the order of all charges of heresy. Using this sensational new information, Frale chronicles the Templars spectacular rise and fall against a sweeping backdrop of war, religious fervor, and the struggle for dominance, and finally lifts the centuries-‐old cloak of mystery surrounding one of the worlds most intriguing secret societies. Also, the importance of the Shroud of Turin is revealed as well as the origin of the infamous ‘Baphomet’ -‐ idol or other deity that the Knights Templar were accused of worshipping during these trials and that subsequently was incorporated into disparate occult and mystical traditions, was nothing more than a vicious PR stunt from creative imagination.

History of Medicine Description: Historical medicine was a religious, non-‐secular practice; utilizing vitalistic, physiological, psychological, mechanical, and laying of hands as modalities. They used nature, as in air, water, light, heat, salts of the earth, phytotherapeutics, natural foods; food and herbal simples and extracts together with natural medicines, naturally processed foods and herbs as nature’s remedies that are physiologically and naturally compatible to body processes for maintenance of health; as well as liberal use of prayer, dietary (scriptural) reform, sunlight and exercise. History records that the first hospitals were Christian, and is a conspicuous mark upon the landscape of humanity. Historical records are rich with medical practices, discoveries and healing traditions from diverse civilizations, including the Greeks, the Romans, the Essenes and their healing order called the Therapeutae, the Arabs, the Chinese, the Hindus, and the Native Americans, to name just a few. These cultures even produced healing temples (Greece), spas, and clinics. But the record of antiquity prior to and apart from the influence of Christianity is astonishingly vacant when it comes to the hospital as we know it today.

History of Nursing Description: In the Middle Ages, most of the church’s healing ministry was carried out by religious orders. In the early 1800’s, a German pastor, Theodore Fliedner of Kaiserswerth, was influential in developing a modern form of the diaconate. He opened a hospital and deaconess training center in Kaiserswerth on 13 October 1836. He later established houses for people who were ill, disabled, transitioning from prison, or in any other need. He gathered women – deaconesses – to provide the care. Fliedner’s idea of women providing health care spread quickly. Florence Nightingale spent some time studying the Kaiserswerth model. Her recognition of the connection between faith and healing did milestones in history to advance the professional aspect of nursing, as this course reports.

ECCLESIASTICAL NURSING: In this Volume V, we report on Diakonia, which is the Greek word for service. Diakonia is the serving, caregiving, and the healing arm of the Church -‐-‐ caring for the whole person. Diakonia was Christ’s service of walking among the people, healing diseases and forgiving sins. Following the Servant Christ, the early church took up the task of caring for and visiting the sick. St. Fabiola, a fourth century widow, the daughter of a rich Roman patrician, committed herself to Christ, selling her possessions and using her wealth to build homes to care for the sick and the poor, establishing the first hospital of record. Other deaconesses, like St. Olympias and St. Sophia, are mentioned in early church history as caregivers of many. In the Middle Ages, most of the church’s healing ministry was carried out by religious orders. From inside cloistered walls, the famous Hildegarde of Bingen included medicine, herbalism, mysticism, and prayer in her ministry. Deaconess ministry and nursing were initially linked. Women served and lived in the institutions that provided their training, but they were free to leave when they wanted. Not all nurses became deaconesses. Eventually, not all deaconesses became nurses.
History of Surgery Description: Ambroise Paré, a 16th-‐century French surgeon, stated that to perform surgery is, "To eliminate that which is superfluous, restore that which has been dislocated, separate that which has been united, join that which has been divided and repair the defects of nature." Since humans first learned to make and handle tools, they have employed their talents to develop surgical techniques, each time more sophisticated than the last; however, until the industrial revolution, surgeons were incapable of overcoming the three principal obstacles which had plagued the medical profession from its infancy — bleeding, pain and infection. Advances in these fields have transformed surgery from a risky "art" into a scientific discipline capable of treating many diseases and conditions. The Sumerians saw sickness as a divine punishment imposed by different demons when an individual broke a rule. In the first Egyptian monarchic age (2700 BCE) the first treaty on surgery was written by Imhotep, the vizier of Pharaoh Djoser, priest, astronomer, physician and first notable architect. Archaeologists made the discovery that the people of Indus Valley Civilization, even from the early Harappan periods (c. 3300 BCE), had knowledge of medicine and dentistry. Surgeons are now considered to be specialized physicians, whereas in the early ancient Greek world a trained general physician had to use his hands (χείρ in Greek) to carry out all medical and medicinal processes including for example the treating of wounds sustained on the battlefield, or the treatment of broken bones (a process called in Greek: χειρουργείν).In China, instruments resembling surgical tools have also been found in the archaeological sites of Bronze Age dating from the Shang Dynasty, along with seeds likely used for herbalism. The discipline of surgery was put on a sound, scientific footing during the Age of Enlightenment in Europe (1715–89).

History of Indigenous & Traditional Medicines Description: One of our most celebrated programs, the world’s most comprehensive videos on such a wide range of subjects. Traditional medicine (also known as indigenous or folk medicine) comprises medical aspects of traditional knowledge that developed over generations within various societies before the era of modern medicine. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines traditional medicine as "the sum total of the knowledge, skills, and practices based on the theories, beliefs, and experiences indigenous to different cultures, whether explicable or not, used in the maintenance of health as well as in the prevention, diagnosis, improvement or treatment of physical and mental illness". In some Asian and African countries, up to 80% of the population relies on traditional medicine for their primary health care needs. When adopted outside of its traditional culture, traditional medicine is often called alternative medicine.

“Sanctified Healing” in our Church, is based on indigenous Christian principles using prayer, education, the healing power of nature (vis medicatrix naturae), hygiene, nutrition, health screenings, therapeutics, and spiritual counseling. To sanctify is to treat our body temple with respect, to make holy, to purify. All this was and is the basis of monastic medicine of Christendom, the forerunner of naturopathy. It has as its goal homeostasis within the body, which may be achieved by sanctifying (respecting and purifying) the proper and necessary balance between the integrated components body-‐mind-‐spirit.
Lost Civilizations Description: Lost lands can be continents, islands or other regions existing during prehistory, having since disappeared as a result of catastrophic geological phenomena or slowly rising sea levels since the end of the last Ice Age. Lost lands, where they existed, are supposed to have subsided into the sea, leaving behind only a few traces or legends. The term can also be extended to mythological lands generally, to underground civilizations, or even to whole planets. 17,000 years ago and 7000 years ago, at the end of the last Ice Age, terrible things happened to the world our ancestors lived in. Great ice caps over northern Europe and north America melted down, huge floods ripped across the earth, sea-‐level rose by more than 100 metres, and about 25 million square kilometres of formerly habitable lands were swallowed up by the waves. This life changing course presents an unprecedented group of researchers including Howard Zinn, Noam Chomsky, Howard Bloom, Sydney Schanberg, Michael Parenti, Riane Eisler, Jim Marrs, and many, many others-‐-‐investigative reporters, political dissidents, academics, media watchdogs, scientist-‐philosophers, social critics, and rogue scholars-‐-‐paints a picture of a world where crucial stories are ignored or actively suppressed and the official version of events has more holes in it than Swiss cheese. A world where real dangers are downplayed and nonexistent dangers are trumpeted. In short, a world where you are being lied to.

History of Maritime Piracy Description: The study of Pirates and Pirate related topics and history. Piracy is an act of robbery or criminal violence by ship-‐ or boat-‐borne attackers upon another ship or a coastal area, typically with the goal of stealing cargo and other valuable items or properties. Those who engage in acts of piracy are called pirates. The earliest documented instances of piracy were in the 14th century BC, when the Sea Peoples, a group of ocean raiders, attacked the ships of the Aegean and Mediterranean civilizations. The classic era of piracy in the Caribbean lasted from circa 1650 until the mid-‐1720s. By 1650, France, England and the United Provinces began to develop their colonial empires with the aid of pirates and slavery. This involved considerable seaborne trade, and a general economic improvement: there was money to be made—or stolen—and much of it traveled by ship. Though less famous and romanticized than Atlantic or Caribbean pirates, corsairs in the Mediterranean equaled or outnumbered the former at any given point in history. Mediterranean piracy was conducted almost entirely with galleys until the mid-‐17th century, when they were gradually replaced with highly maneuverable sailing vessels such as xebecs and brigantines. Yet to become a formal academic subject, the reality of history dictates that piracy was pivotal in the settling of the Americas and the Caribbean islands.

Medieval Society and Culture Description: In the history of Europe, the Middle Ages or Medieval Period lasted from the 5th to the 15th century. It began with the fall of the Western Roman Empire and merged into the Renaissance and the Age of Discovery. Christianity was a major unifying factor between Eastern and Western Europe before the Arab conquests. The political structure of Western Europe changed with the end of the united Roman Empire. Although the movements of peoples during this period are usually described as "invasions", they were not just military expeditions but migrations of entire peoples into the empire. The High Middle Ages was a period of tremendous expansion of population. The estimated population of Europe grew from 35 to 80 million between 1000 and 1347. As much as 90 per cent of the European population remained rural peasants. One important reason for studying medieval history is that it was during the medieval period that the early outline of Europe was being drawn. Another reason to study medieval history is to gain an appreciation for the fine line between religion and government. A third cause for studying medieval history is to discover the early basis for many of the political theories that exist today. It is remarkable to learn how the creation of Magna Carta in 1215 set the British governmental structure on a decidedly different course than many of the governments on mainland Europe. By tracing the practice of law as is existed in both the Roman world and in the Germanic world, we can see the basis of the different law systems of today and how they came to be. Understanding the origin of a law system is integral to the proper interpretation of the laws as they exist today, therefore, a study of medieval history can be of great usefulness both to the student of law or of political theory.

Metempsychosis Description: Metempsychosis (Greek: μετεμψύχωσις) is a philosophical term in the Greek language referring to transmigration of the soul, especially concerning reincarnation after death. Another term sometimes used synonymously is palingenesis. It is unclear at present how the doctrine of metempsychosis arose in Greece but we assume that earlier ideas were utilized for religious and philosophic purposes. Suffice it to say, it set the background for reincarnation as it emerged in early Christianity. Reincarnation is today the philosophical or religious concept that an aspect of a living being starts a new life in a different physical body or form after each biological death. It is also called rebirth or transmigration, and is a part of the Saṃsāra doctrine of cyclic existence. It is a central tenet of all major Indian religions, namely Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, and Sikhism. The idea of reincarnation is found in many ancient cultures, and a belief in rebirth/metempsychosis was held by Greek historic figures, such as Pythagoras, Socrates, and Plato. It is also a common belief of various ancient and modern religions such as Spiritism, Theosophy, and Eckankar and is found as well in many tribal societies around the world, in places such as Australia, East Asia, Siberia, and South America.
Although the majority of denominations within the Abrahamic religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam do not believe that individuals reincarnate, particular groups within these religions do refer to reincarnation; these groups include the mainstream historical and contemporary followers of Kabbalah, the Cathars (Templars), Alawites, the Druze, and the Rosicrucians. The historical relations between these sects and the beliefs about reincarnation that were characteristic of Neoplatonism, Orphism, Hermeticism, Manicheanism, and Gnosticism of the Roman era as well as the Indian religions have been the subject of recent scholarly research. Unity Church and its founder Charles Fillmore teach reincarnation.

REINCARNATION. S. GREWAL The progress of civilization demands the exercise of constructive influences which produce uprightness of character in the individual units of society. The varying standards of civilization, or of society, are determined by the average intellectual and moral status of a majority of its individual units. When the average attained by the majority is relatively high and stable, civilization is safe; otherwise it is in danger. Therefore, it is necessary for Man to observe, investigate and reflect concerning the serious problems of human existence; such as, his search for knowledge of the world’ in which he finds himself, the purpose of his birth, growth and death, his relationship to the world, and to seek the answer to the question, “is death the end of it all, or do we live again.” The latter question deals with the subject of Reincarnation. There are many books, magazine articles and other literature available on the subject of Reincarnation and its related subject “Karma.”
Psionics (Radionics) Description: Psionics is the study of paranormal phenomena in relation to the application of electronics. The term comes from psi ('psyche') and the -‐onics from electronics (machine). It is closely related to the field of radionics. A notable device in psionics was the Hieronymus machine. Radionics is an alternative medicine that claims disease can be diagnosed and treated with a kind of energy similar to radio waves. The concept behind radionics originated in the early 1900s with Albert Abrams (1864–1924), who became a millionaire by leasing radionic machines which he designed himself. According to radionics practitioners, a healthy person will have certain energy frequencies moving through their body that define health, while an unhealthy person will exhibit other, different energy frequencies that define disorders. Radionic devices diagnose and heal by applying appropriate frequencies to balance the discordant frequencies of sickness. Radionics uses "frequency" not in its standard meaning but to describe an imputed energy type, which does not correspond to any property of energy in the scientific sense.

Psychology of Mind Control Description: To the degree that the individual loses the sense of what freedom really means for him, mind control is working. Everybody's born into this control structure, everybody's born into authority. Everyone's born into the situation, but just because you have an authority making decisions for you at some point when you're very young, too young to take care of yourself, doesn't mean you should always cater to authority your whole life. We have established a framework which for the most part works pretty good. People enter into this contract with society. That contract allows them to follow certain rules and expect certain returns on their investment of working within the framework of the contract. Human beings form habits. At some point in our lives, many of us realize that the lives we are living are not those which we have imagined, but rather lives reflecting others' imaginations, as if we have been unwitting actors in someone else's script. Can be the minds of individuals harnessed by systems of psychological control? Are the habits reflected by human beings in direct conflict with their needs to survive and thrive in this world? The enormous implications deter many of us from asking these simple questions and finding answers relevant to our daily lives. If we don't resist all of the different information that comes our way and weigh it and use our own mind instead of what somebody else wants us to think, eventually society would become nothing more than automatons, robots. The establishment has protected itself. Unless you submit to the saturation indoctrination and adopt all its values, you can't get in.

PCT: PHOTOCOGNITIVE THERAPY (Past Life Regression Therapy) Description: PhotoCognitive Therapy (PCT) is a new method of spiritual healing using pulsed, colored light for stress release and enlightenment. Over the past 60 years, neuroscience and psychology has shown that the brain has 'photocells' which convert light into nerve impulses called 'photocurrent.' This current passing through the eyes reaches many important parts of the brain: 1. Visual cortex where it procures sight.; 2. Cerebral cortex where it stimulates learning and mental abilities. 3. The Limbic system where is stores and procures emotional impressions. 4. The brain stem where it produces coordination and balance. 5. The hypothalamus where it programs the body's biological rhythms (in essence a neural pacemaker ). 6. The autonomic nervous system where it regulates hormones from the body's glands. The biological rhythms regulated by hypothalamic discharges dramatically influence how we feel and function. Light generated photocurrent stimulates the brain's vital energy. Clinical evidence conducted in Europe and Russia suggest that a lack of abundant color rays decreases photocurrent transmission and affects behavior, learning ability, and health. Called by John Ott malillumination syndrome, lack of proper light decreases brain activity and health. (See the author's book PHOTOBIOTICS for more details). Malillumination syndrome constitutes a variety of problems since so many of the brain's activities are dependent on light: * Learning disability/deficit * Poor vision * Color blindness * Overeating & snacking * Night blindness * Headaches * Insomnia * Anxiety & nervousness * Poor concentration * Poor sleep patterns * Mood swings * Poor self-‐esteem * Food allergies * Constipation The transmission of photocurrent is directly connected to the eyes and exposure to sunlight does not necessarily insure proper color exposure. Sunlight is often filtered through glass, plastic or eyeglasses and therefore modifies or taints incoming rays. Additionally, the light is broad banded, not isolated to one color. Twelve different colors have been found effective in treating malillumination syndrome which reactivates photocurrent reception and transmission. Therapy, in short, must be with monochromatic (colored) light. Photocognitive therapy is a technique where one administers pulsed, colored light to the eyes, having the person sit comfortably in a darkened room in front of the Suntron (see the author's book-‐ Reading Faces: East & West for more details). This pleasant and relaxing experience usually includes one or more of the following: 1. Gemtherapy since the Suntron uses faceted stones in the color disks of the machine.; 2. Aromatherapy, to enhance desired results.; 3. Music therapy.; 4. Healing by PhotoCognitive Facilitation.

Monastic Medical Astrology Description: Any physician should ask why Hippocrates would summarily state: "A physician without a knowledge of Astrology has no right to call himself a physician", and why this sentiment lasted for more than 2,000 years. The reason for this, thought by by some of the most profound thinkers of contemporary times, is the fact religion in prior times was revered, and that as being a physician was considered a priesthood unto itself. The priests of ancient Chaldea (Babylon), deep thinkers in the arcane realms of Nature who possessed a profound spirit of celestial wisdom, were said to have been given the knowledge of the Cosmos to them by the Nephilim of Genesis. The allegories from which the superstructure of every subsequent religious and ethical system arose from astrology on planet earth after the epoch, more than 500,000 years ago. The Sumerians were the most ancient race which fathered today's mankind and civilization. The Order of the Universe directed that man must respect nature. When man/woman followed this Order of the Universe, health was maintained. When the laws of nature were violated, disease ensued. Such levels of devotion, asceticism, and reverence have so often attended the practice of the medicine beginning with the Hippocrate school and later Moasiac Law, that they can be described as a form of 'hygienic religion'. Religious analogy has in fact commonly been used by health crusaders, which the monastic physicians became to describe their missions. A belief "that the Kingdom of Health, like the Kingdom of Heaven, is within you" and is to be

gained by hygienic righteousness, akin to religious observance, salvation, and purification. Confidence that humanity will seek the kingdom has stemmed from the faith that man, as a product of nature, is essentially good. The leading idea that health results from individuals living in accord with nature, natures which have been formed orderly by heaven, the Kingdom. Implicit in this is the argument that since the laws of human nature are of divine origin, the physician has an obligation to observe them, and regard health as his reward for godliness as foretold by the stars. This is not only found in Christian medicine, but also in Taoism and Ayurveda. This massive ENCYCLOPAEDIA OF MEDICAL ASTROLOGY.pdf over 2,200 pages! Edited by H.E., MSRG, PROF. [DR. The point is, Medical Astrology, as part of Astral Medicine, teaches us the following: 1. Based on the concept of the elements, our 'constitution', or temperament, is composed of aetheric matter, and it is predominately that of earth, air, fire or water, with aether, the 5th element, interpenetrating all in between, as the medium of light and magnetism. 2. Based on the configuration of planets at birth, the season upon which we were born and entered earth, our constitution is primarily composed that of earth (Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo), air (Gemini, Aquarius, Libra), fire (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius) or water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces). 3. These elements, now composed into the human frame, are spoken of as 'humors', and upon that which the entire basis of Hippocratic Medicine was composed. If one of these 'humors' is in exuberance, it also means that one of them is deficient. So you may have a 'fire' predominate temperament, but also a water deficiency. Meaning, your foods, your color (dress, surroundings), your waters, your jewelry (gemstones) even your music, should supplement your water deficiency to keep your 'humors' in balance. Astrology IS and WAS the source of all religions.

Ancient & Illustrious Orders of the Hospitallers of Jerusalem PREAMBLE: An Appeal to Those of Nobility The Common Good Needs Your Sacrifices True nobility or the concept of the noble man or noble woman, is one that embraces one possessing unequaled social intelligence. A Noble studies history, languages, and human behavior knowing that every interaction is a chance to expand and learn about people and to leave every person and every interaction at a higher, spiritual level. Confidence, manners, and social acumen allows one to find what is special in every person and to relate to them amicably and reward them. True Hospitallers began in Christianity with that of Saint Fabiola, establishing the first charitable ‘hospital’ of record in Rome. When St. Basil of Caesearea visited Egypt in 357 AD, he was so impressed by the Orthodox monastic medical traditions, he established in Cappadocia a charitable hospital some refer to as one of the wonders of the world. Thus, the Eastern Church monastic tradition was born to become a template for the world. There is a historic tradition that nobles are directly born from the natural order of the Great Chain of Being. As a result of God-‐given, enviable qualities, they have a task to fulfill on behalf of the common good. Their very existence and destiny dictates that they should be willing to sacrifice their talents as this Christian duty demands, and to improve the world as God’s fulfillment requires. For it would be absurd to imagine that God created the natural order solely to benefit pleasure-‐seeking people solely for their own benefit while deprivation creates unhappiness and misery for all others. The natural, God-‐given Chain of Being, its progress and “evolution” are ascensional marches, evolution, and can only occur with the sacrifices ascensions demand—whether of the goods and services of the soul or of the body. To move mankind in an ascensional way requires a painful effort of nobles to which the greater part of bereft humanity is more or less adverse or incapable. This vast ascensional effort must be accomplished, internationally, regionally, among families, by individuals or small groups especially endowed in nature and grace who desire to improve themselves and their environment so intensely that they become the driving forces of individual improvement and social progress. In a word, they are the yeast, the others the dough. To imagine that yeast is the bounty of dough because it is distinct, active, because it rises more quickly, because it raises that in which it acts, in short, because it is a driving force and stimulus. To imagine that the dough witnessing itself thus elevated and increased, is to represent progress, evolution, life and dispel on all
people the torments of boredom, idleness, and uselessness. These reflections are supported on the teaching of the Divine Master, Who, in explaining the predominant ecclesiastical mission, said: “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its savor, with what shall it be salted? It is good for nothing anymore but to be cast out, and to be trodden on by men. You are the light of the world. A city seated on a mountain cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but upon a candlestick, that it may shine to all that are in the house. So let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven” (Matt. 5:13-‐16). To favor temporal elites who are neither light nor salt, preferring to blend in rather than allow their superiority to shine is to favor the advance of darkness, not light. Evil Flourishes When Good People Do Nothing. Thus, the Church has awarded the distinction of knighthood since the early medieval period. Such honors originally conferred nobility, personal or hereditary according to military rank, but today the Ecclesiastical Orders are a means by which the Church may personally distinguish those who have particularly served the Church and society. The Ecclesiastical Orders are awarded by diplomas that have been signed by the Grand Master before the Chapter General. Knights believe in the code of chivalry. They promised to defend the weak, be courteous to all women, be loyal to their king, and serve God at all times. Knights are expected to be humble before others, especially their superiors. There was not an authentic Knights Code of Chivalry as such -‐ it was a moral system which went beyond rules of combat and introduced the concept of Chivalrous conduct -‐ qualities idealized by knighthood, such as bravery, courtesy, honor, and gallantry toward women. NOTE: The Title of Nobility Clause of the U.S. states that no person holding any office of profit or trust under government, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state. Nobility titles granted by SMOKH are ecclesiastical and honorific. The bestowing of Honor is in the role of the Grand Master, as he is the supreme Head in spiritual and international matters. The Church of Hope has no military control over territory and only maintains an international spiritual nature which has the historical tradition of giving ecclesiastical honor.

DOCTORATE APPLICATION ___ I herewith request Doctorate Recognition as a Knight Hospitaller. Doctorates are award based on the instructions outlined in this catalog. Ecclesiastical honorary doctorates (h.c.) may also be awarded on an honorary basis, denoted by their addendum “h.c.“ (honoris causa). We will award you such title in appreciation of your application and donation to our Church. The ecclesiastical honorary doctorate is perfectly legal to add to your name by Ecclesiastical Authority and tradition. The deciding factor, according to the Ministry for Cultural Affairs (Europe), is the legal right of the awarding body or agency to issue such degrees in its own country. In the United States, the degree is generally conferred honoris causa by a church-‐related college, seminary, or university to recognize the recipient's ministry-‐orientated accomplishments. The ruling is the legal standing of our Church, with registration in Florida, Puerto Rico, Nevis, and Ecuador, that of a registered non-‐profit entity, as promulgated in our covenants. As the application of a doctoral degree elevates you to having an honorary Ph.D. appellation attached to your name, we may reasonably expect you to live up to the ethics the title presumes—i.e. projecting in your personal life an image of responsibility, integrity, chivalry, and high moral values toward others. Upon this application, you are prepared to abide by the canons of exemplary behavior, and the Church stands ready to confer upon you its honorary doctorate. Equally, through our affiliation with the PanAmerican University, applicant may opt for a full study program with dissertation for formal confirmation of an earned Ph.D. in the subject(s) so selected, with confirmation from the Dean of the University. To earn such a degree, a postgraduate level of education is requisite, culminating in your promotion and doctoral dissertation, which hopefully will lead to your being awarded the Ph.D. title upon presentation at our annual World Congress. ___ I herewith request the enrollment in a Master’s degree in:__________________________________ and afterwards a Doctorate, in the life subject of ___________________________________________p and respectfully submit with this application my transcripts and records of prior life experiences, and a written summary and plea to the Sovereign Council for due consideration and conveyance of Certificate at my investiture on ____________ day of ____________ in the year of our Lord 20____ . ___ I herewith opt for consideration of Doctorate (Honoris Causa) in _______________________________________ and request pertinent materials by post as outlined in the Order’s prospectus.
