GETTING TO KNOW A GOD OF LOVE “I have a very different background, but now I love Christ and I have peace. I never felt loved in my life until I learned more about Christianity which speaks of His person, Jesus Christ. I learned that it is not a religion as much as it is a relationship with Christ, who is everything. I have found the real treasure and light, and through Him, I no longer live in darkness. Bahar, a female SAT-7 TÜRK viewer shares how the program women’s Homemade became a lifeline in her darkest hour.

“I was divorced three years ago, I can’t see my two children because of financial reasons, and I’ve been depressed for two years. A month ago, I was alone on my birthday. I felt so lonely and I had the desire to end my life, but I thought to myself that I should watch Homemade one last time. I had been watching SAT-7 TÜRK for a while and I thought the presenter Şemsa was very sincere and natural.

That day, Şemsa was talking about God’s love and patience. She talked about delivering ourselves to Him and giving Him our pain. I began wondering what the Bible had to say about suicide and reached out to the SAT-7 TÜRK team to request a Bible.

Now, I have hope. I am reading the Bible and praying every day and I believe that one day I will see my children again. Jesus Christ is with me; He is taking care of me. I thank you all - you have been tools for God to do this in my life.”

Bahar later contacted the team once more, giving thanks to God and sharing that her daughter had come to live with her.

Please pray that SAT-7 TÜRK programs will continue to show God’s love to viewers, and pray for the Audience Relations teams who provide counselling, encouragement, and support to those viewers who contact the channel for help.
