Provide assistance to landowners of the state in the detection and control of destructive forest insects and diseases and other threats
• train and support field personnel in forest pest issues
• provide diagnostic and control support and services
• inspect state’s nurseries and seed orchards for emerging I&D issues
• Network with universities, and state and national agencies to stay informed of new threats, controls, and current research
