Overall data is examined at the division level.
Schools examine reports at Student Support Team meetings to ensure that they are providing the supports to students where needs are identified.
Counsellors meet with all students scoring in the red that are not currently on their caseload.
Students scoring in the red on the self or teacher survey are re-screened in the spring of that school year.
What have we done:
Outcome Data Analysis
Outcome Data and Skopus Reports
ELA and Math Outcome Data is shared and discussed with schools during Superintendent and Principal Monthly Discussions
Data can show patterns year over year or with a specific class so that supports can be planned and implemented
Skopus Graduation Reports are used to monitor individual students credit attainment and On-track to Graduate
The report can provide an overview of each high school grade and can also drill down to a specific student’s credit attainment

Individual High School Credit Summary
Credit Recovery
Students that are unsuccessful in completing a credit have 30 days to “recover” the credit
Administrators use student report cards from Skopus to determine which outcomes a student did not successfully complete
A plan is developed, with the teacher and student, in order to complete the required outcomes
If the recovery is successful, the adjusted mark is sent in to the Ministry and the student’s transcript is updated

Lexia – Core 5 Effective use of information to measure, monitor and report continuous
improvement.
What is Lexia?
Lexia is the parent company that provides two learning platforms – Core 5 (Tier 1 Instruction - Grades 2-5) and PowerUp (Tier 2 Instruction – Grades 6 and up).
The structure of Core 5 as a Tier 1 instructional resource allows for Division level data, School level data, Classroom level data and Student level data. This data can be used to assess program effectiveness all four levels.
Core 5 Data
Core 5 Data is organized into the following areas:
Usage
Progress
Progress by Usage
Predictors
Certificates/Celebrations
These 5 areas of organized data can be examined at the Division, School, Classroom and student levels within the program.
Core 5 Data – Division Monitoring
Every 4 weeks Superintendents receive a report on the “Usage” of each school.
Superintendents have access to a dashboard that represents cumulative data of all schools.
Superintendents also have access to School level dashboards to monitor and discuss with Principals.
