Math Activities
1. Counting Mats: Cut each page into two counting mats. Usingsmall manipulative (buttons, erasers, blocks, etc.), have your children fill in the ten frame according to the number at the top of the card. They can practice tracing the numeral and the number word. If you laminate the pages, they can write with wet erase markers and use them over and over again.
2. Clip Cards: Each card has one number on the main part and twonumbers at the bottom. You can ask your child to clip the number that comes before or after the featured number.
3. Concept of Size: Follow the directions identifying the smallestand/or biggest in each group.
4. Counting: Follow the directions coloring the specified numberof items.
5. Counting Practice: Trace and say the number. Count each set.Draw a line matching the number to the correct set.
6. Identifying Shapes: Name the first shape. Circle the matchingshape in each row.

1. Read It, Write It: Read the sentence. Color the sentence, traceit, and practice writing it on your own.
2. Color and Write: Color the picture. Trace the word at thebottom of the page.
3. Label the Monkey: Read the words. Write the correct word ineach box. Color the picture.
4. Handwriting: Trace and print the M and m.
5. Color By Letter: Use the key to color the picture.
6. Letter Hunt: Use dot markers or crayons to identify the featuredletter on the page.
7. Story: Read or listen to the story. Circle all of the letter M’s.

Other Letter M Activities1. M is for…: Name all of the images on the page. Color, trace, ordot the letter M. Color the pictures on the page.
2. Letter Hunt: Use dot markers or crayons to identify the letterMm.
3. Label it: Cut out the words at the bottom of the page and gluethem under the correct picture.
4. Trace the Word: Say the name of each picture, and then tracethe word on the line.
5. Puzzle: Laminate the page. Cut apart the puzzle pieces, andhave your child assemble it.
5. Dot-to-Dot: Connect the dots from 1-20 to draw the letter M.
6. Maze: Wind your way through a Letter M maze.
7. Word cards: These cards feature items that begin with the “M”sound.
8. Mini Book: Children will color the images. Cut apart the page,and stack the pages together. Staple on the left side. Let children read their Letter M book.
9. Book Challenge: Color the image for each challenge youcomplete.
