Dithiole derivativesR 0175 Mono- and Bis(tetrathiafulvaleno)hexadehydro[12]annulenes. —

Hexahydro[12]annulenes (VI) and (IX) anellated with one or two tetrathiafulvalenes (TTF) are synthesized using the Sonogashira coupling reaction as key step.
