Why Celebrate Divine Mercy?
Divine Mercy is God’s love meeting our human suffering
and brokenness. “God, who is rich in mercy” (Eph 2:4),
reaches down to meet the needs and overcome the
miseries of His creatures.
When we celebrate Divine Mercy:
- We learn to completely trust in Jesus.
- We grow in humility and allow the light of God’s truth to
guide us in all areas of our lives.
- We obtain graces to help us overcome our misery of
repeated (or habitual) sin.
- We become a Church of mercy, relating to all persons in
truth and love.
“At a moment as critical as our
own … the Church has the right
and the duty to appeal to the
God of mercy with loud cries”
(St. Pope John Paul II)
Will you join us in praying for
the world and for one another?
