WartungsvorschiftenIsolierte Stromschienen erfordern gerin-ge Wartung.Folgende Arbeiten sind jedoch regelmä-ßig durchzuführen:
4 Precisely adjust the towing arms asotherwise the installation dimensionscannot be observed.
Collector trolleys of model series UST300/35 and UDST 600/35 are mountedaccording to their bolt spacing ontoexisting structures, which have boresø 18 mm or slots, at the installation site. The different spacing of the mountingbolts should be taken into account - sothat they cannot be interchanged.
Phase = 70 mm, PE = 120 mm4 Angle tolerances ± 1° to the vertical.
HThe connecting cable must beclamped carefully at the cableattachment clamp. The carbonbrush must be strain-relieved.
Commissioning:
After the correct assembly, a trial runmust be made. The following points mustbe observed here:- The first run has to be carried out at a
low speed.- The collectors must move in the rail
without vibration.- Sparking at the carbon brush must not
occur. (Sparking points to dirty or oxi-dized contact surfaces. In this case, thecontact surfaces must be cleaned). Incase of shorter sections, a transitionwithout any joints must be ensured atthe conductor rail ends.
- Particularly observe the perfect run-inand run-out at transfer guides.
Maintenance InstructionsInsulated conductor rails require littlemaintenance. However, the following tasks must becarried out regularly:
1. Checking the conductor rails:
- Make a visual inspection at intervals of 4weeks. Also pay attention to the expansionof the conductor rails and any burnt spots.
- Remove the dust deposited especiallyat the conductor dead sections andtransfer guides.
- In case of a strong contamination of theguide slot and the contact surface, werecommend:a) Cleaning with a high-pressure clean-
ing device by compressed water jet.b) Cleaning with cleansing liquid Rivolta
SLX 500: application with flat brushor impregnated felt sheets. Then thecleaned surfaces are to be dried.
