MONTBLANC MASTERS FOR MEISTERSTÜCK Symbolised since 1924 by the legendary Montblanc Meisterstück Fountain Pen, and notorious for its savoir-faire, Montblanc has long fostered a great respect for other advocates of fine craftsmanship – artisans who are masters in their field. It was in this spirit that, in 2010, Montblanc initiated the Montblanc Masters for Meisterstück collection. Three hundred years ago, in the Kingdom of Saxony, an alchemist under royal mandate to find the secret of manufacturing gold, stumbled across a far more valuable discovery: Meissen porcelain, one of the most exquisite and delicate materials known to man. In the centuries that followed, Meissen came to set the standard for fine ceramic manufactories, and is hailed as being the greatest influence on the development of European porcelain. The history and excellence of Meissen – the white gold of Saxony – is perfectly aligned with the proud heritage and craftsmanship of Montblanc. The two Houses seeming destined for collaboration, Montblanc invited Meissen to create the Meisterstück Porcelain Black & White line. Today, the blue 'Crossed Swords' of Meissen that adorn each piece from the Meisterstück Porcelain Black & White line have become one of the oldest brand emblems in the world. Following this collaboration with Meissen porcelain, Montblanc presents its latest collection, and a tribute to the excellence of Forge de Laguiole knives, crafted in the L' Aubrac region of southern France. Derived from both the local capuchadou and the Spanish navaja, the Laguiole knife was originally produced in 1829 and used by L'Aubrac farmers and cattle herders, before later becoming a cult object recognised as a symbol of French art de vivre. Crafted by hand from start to finish in up to 180 operations by a single artisan, a Laguiole is not just a knife. Imbued with the care and commitment of the hands that made it, it is a talisman, a faithful companion, just like a Montblanc Meisterstück Fountain Pen. Drawing on the expertise, dedication and inspiration of each of their Houses, the craftsmen of Montblanc and Forge de Laguiole worked together to produce the new Montblanc Masters for Meisterstück L' Aubrac. e Meisterstück LeGrand Fountain Pen is interpreted in ebony wood, intricately carved in a three- dimensional pineapple pattern, each facet of which is then set with a brilliant diamond. Fusing the heritage of Montblanc as the maison of exceptional writing instruments with that of Forge de Laguiole as the epitome of the finest French knives, the collection is a masterpiece of magnificent artistry. Representing the absolute pinnacle of this collaboration is the Montblanc Masters for Meisterstück L'Aubrac Atelier Privé Edition, limited to just eight pieces, each of which was meticulously hand- crafted by the most highly skilled artisans of both Montblanc and Forge de Laguiole. Items from this collection can still be found, if collectors don't mind the hunt. The Meisterstück LeGrand Fountain Pen is interpreted in ebony wood, intricately carved in a three-dimensional pineapple pattern (a traditional Laguiole motif and one of the most challenging to create), each facet of which is then set with a brilliant diamond. Equally exquisite are the ornate 18-carat gold nib and fittings, engraved with a delicate leaf motif. Appropriately for such an exceptional piece, the cap is crowned by a Montblanc diamond, the patented gem cut replicating the legendary Montblanc star. Limited to 50 pieces, the Montblanc Masters for Meisterstück L'Aubrac Artisan Edition is fashioned from Brazilian precious wood enhanced by finely chiselled 18-carat white gold inlays. This refined interpretation of the Meisterstück LeGrand Fountain Pen is completed by an 18-carat gold nib and a Montblanc diamond on the cap. The Montblanc Masters for Meisterstück L'Aubrac Special Edition comprises a Meisterstück LeGrand Fountain Pen and Rollerball crafted from exotic granadilla wood, highly prized for its fine grain and lustrous waxed finish. The cap and barrel feature tiny, sterling silver rivets inspired by the handles of Forge de Laguiole knives, while the silver cap rings are decorated with a heritage Laguiole motif alongside the Montblanc signature. An 18-carat gold nib on the Fountain Pen and the Montblanc star emblem in mother-of-pearl complete the items. Through these unique collaborations, Montblanc has ensured that centuries-old traditions are not only preserved but reinvented for the benefit of future generations. These elegant, collectible writing instruments are destined to be treasured by connoisseurs of true craftsmanship – people who share the timeless values of tradition and dedication represented by Montblanc and its collaborators – for many years to come. Montblanc Masters for Meisterstück

Symbolised since 1924 by the legendary Montblanc Meisterstück

Fountain Pen, and notorious for its savoir-faire, Montblanc has long

fostered a great respect for other advocates of fine craftsmanship –

artisans who are masters in their field. It was in this spirit that, in 2010,

Montblanc initiated the Montblanc Masters for

Meisterstück collection.

Three hundred years ago, in the Kingdom of

Saxony, an alchemist under royal mandate to find

the secret of manufacturing gold, stumbled across

a far more valuable discovery: Meissen porcelain,

one of the most exquisite and delicate materials

known to man. In the centuries that followed,

Meissen came to set the standard for fine ceramic manufactories,

and is hailed as being the greatest influence on the development of

European porcelain.

The history and excellence of Meissen – the white gold of Saxony

– is perfectly aligned with the proud heritage and craftsmanship of

Montblanc. The two Houses seeming destined for collaboration,

Montblanc invited Meissen to create the Meisterstück Porcelain Black

& White line. Today, the blue 'Crossed Swords' of Meissen that adorn

each piece from the Meisterstück Porcelain Black & White line have

become one of the oldest brand emblems in the world.

Following this collaboration with Meissen porcelain, Montblanc

presents its latest collection, and a tribute to the excellence of Forge

de Laguiole knives, crafted in the L' Aubrac region of southern France.

Derived from both the local capuchadou and the Spanish navaja, the

Laguiole knife was originally produced in 1829 and used by L'Aubrac

farmers and cattle herders, before later becoming a cult object

recognised as a symbol of French art de vivre.

Crafted by hand from start to finish in up to 180

operations by a single artisan, a Laguiole is not just

a knife. Imbued with the care and commitment of

the hands that made it, it is a talisman, a faithful

companion, just like a Montblanc Meisterstück

Fountain Pen.

Drawing on the expertise, dedication and inspiration of each of their Houses,

the craftsmen of Montblanc and Forge de Laguiole worked together to

produce the new Montblanc Masters for Meisterstück L' Aubrac.

The Meisterstück LeGrand Fountain Pen is interpreted in ebony wood,

intricately carved in a three-dimensional pineapple pattern, each

facet of which is then set with a brilliant diamond.

Fusing the heritage of Montblanc as the maison of exceptional writing

instruments with that of Forge de Laguiole as the epitome of the finest

French knives, the collection is a masterpiece of magnificent artistry.

Representing the absolute pinnacle of this collaboration is the

Montblanc Masters for Meisterstück L'Aubrac Atelier Privé Edition,

limited to just eight pieces, each of which was meticulously hand-

crafted by the most highly skilled artisans of both Montblanc and

Forge de Laguiole. Items from this collection can still be found, if

collectors don't mind the hunt.

The Meisterstück LeGrand Fountain Pen is interpreted in ebony

wood, intricately carved in a three-dimensional pineapple pattern (a

traditional Laguiole motif and one of the most challenging to create),

each facet of which is then set with a brilliant diamond. Equally

exquisite are the ornate 18-carat gold nib and fittings, engraved with

a delicate leaf motif. Appropriately for such an exceptional piece,

the cap is crowned by a Montblanc diamond, the patented gem cut

replicating the legendary Montblanc star.

Artisan Edition is fashioned from Brazilian precious wood enhanced by

finely chiselled 18-carat white gold inlays. This refined interpretation of

the Meisterstück LeGrand Fountain Pen is completed by an 18-carat

gold nib and a Montblanc diamond on the cap.

crafted from exotic granadilla wood, highly prized for its fine grain and

lustrous waxed finish. The cap and barrel feature tiny, sterling silver

silver cap rings are decorated with a heritage Laguiole motif alongside

the Montblanc signature. An 18-carat gold nib on the Fountain Pen and

the Montblanc star emblem in mother-of-pearl complete the items.

Through these unique collaborations, Montblanc has ensured that

centuries-old traditions are not only preserved but reinvented for

the benefit of future generations. These elegant, collectible writing

instruments are destined to be treasured by connoisseurs of true

craftsmanship – people who share the timeless values of tradition and

dedication represented by Montblanc and its collaborators – for many

years to come.
