MONTHLY REPORT – FEBRUARY 2018

ACADEMICS

1) The (Formative Assessment IV) Preparatory Exam for

Classes VIII, IX and the 2nd Preparatory Exam for Class X

commenced simultaneously, from the 12th of February and

ended on the 19th of February.

2) A Parents Teachers Meeting for Class X was held on the

28th of February wherein the parents had to sign for the

internal mark statements of their wards in each subject.

LITERARY ACTIVITIES

The Literary Club conducted a skit

competition for Classes VIII, IX and X

on the 8th of February.

SCIENCE QUIZ

The Vishweshwaraiah Museum

conducted the Science Quiz Finals on the

15th of February.

Annual Prize Distribution 1) The Annual Prize Distribution was held on the 22nd of

February with our Chief Guests being Shri. S.R Mahadeva

Shastry, Retd. Chief Engineer, A.I.R; Doordarshan and Mr.

Santosh, National Level Basketball Player.

2) Our students received their prizes from the Esteemed Chief

Guests for their exemplary performance in literary and

sports activities.

3) The ‘Yellow House’ emerged as the Overall Champions.

SPORTS ACTIVITIES

1) Arya P of Class VIII secured the 2nd Position

in the Ashoka Martial Arts Competition

conducted at the State Level.

2) Sanjana Chakravarthy G of Class VIII

participated in the Chikkaballapur District

Roll Ball Association Cup and secured the 3rd

Place.

EDUCATIONAL VISIT

1) The students of Class IX were taken to visit the

Poornaprajna Institute of Scientific Research on the 20th

of February to attend the Outreach Programme

conducted by the PPISR Faculty and their students.

2) Various experiments were showcased in the fields of

Physics and Chemistry. An explanation on ‘Pathogens’

was discussed, during a discussion on the subject of

Biology.

PARIKSHA PE CHARCHA

Students of Classes VIII, IX and X were shown the video of our Honourable Prime Minister Narendra

Modi’s talk, on ‘ Why Students must appear for Exams with a smile, without stress’

on the 24th of February.

Students actively listened to the talk and gained valuable inputs.

SARASWATHI POOJA

Saraswathi Pooja was conducted in the presence of His

Holiness Shri Vishwapriya Theertha Swamiji on the 27th of

February.

Our Swamiji gave his Aashirwachan to the students on

how they had to face their examinations. He further

stressed on the importance of the students seeking their

parents’ blessings which would lead them to perform

better and bring good results to our school in the

forthcoming Board Exams.
