The surveysareused, inpart, toobtain information toassistwith the formulationof theUIP. Four separate EOY surveys were created using the online survey tool SurveyMonkey® to be completed by parents. The surveys for 2017(Preschool,Elementary,MiddleSchool,andiPad)areidenticaltothosecompletedin2015(noiPadsurveyin2015)and2016inordertoidentifyyear-to-yeartrends.Thesurveyresponsesremainanonymous.
Thisreportpresentstheresultsofthe2017EOYsurveys. IncludedaresummaryresultsforeachsurveyquestionandrecommendationsfromSAACtotheexecutiveleadershipteamforreviewsorchangesinpolicies/procedures.

3.3.3 Question20ConcerningSafetyandSecurity
This question asked for parental feedback concerning safety and security atMonument Academy. 79 parents responded to this question.Almost90%gaveaffirmativeresponses;i.e.,safetyandsecuritypoliciesandproceduresareAdequateorVeryAdequate.TheSAAC,however,isconcernedthattheeightparentsresponding“NotAdequate”haveexperiencesthatarecontrarytothemissionandvaluesofour institution. While a 100% positive response is unlikely, it is incumbent on the leadership and staff to continuouslymonitor and enforce the safety andsecurityofourchildren.
