Idea One

Orange and blue colour scheme is default to the IRN-BRU brand. Will be

used as recognition of the product.

Using eccentric smiles by extending the mouth on Photoshop, this relates to the “It’ll drive you crazy.” tagline. Spiraling the eyes also to create a dazed effect on imagery.

“Creepy/Horror” based fonts fit well with the theme. Halloween has just passed so it fits in well with the theme of

scary and being “crazy”. Sans serif font works well with projecting a bold impact, will a blood-splatter approach to

formation of the lettering.

Spiral eyes will be blue and orange to meet the IRN-BRU colour scheme. Using creepy effects are suitable for taking

a different “Halloween” approach to a product. I like the way this entices a viewer

to read on.

Shringe is used to work will the “lethal dose” theme of how IRN-BRU, “makes you crazy”. I would fill this with orange to represent the

product. This probably wouldn’t be appropriate for audiences under the age of 16 due to the

scenes of horror and drug relation.

Idea Two

Using an earth or some sort of feature to do with taking over the planet works well this showing the message and recognition of the approach the company took with the

campaign.

Using a witty comment or some sort of sarcastic terminology works well with showing the humor in the

advert rather than it coming across strict and inappropriate for a young demographic.

Use some sort of army photograph that represents a global takeover, I would edit their uniform to be blue and orange to fit in with the original colour theme. Army photography would

be taken from online as a stock image.

I want to use a stamp-effect font that are typically associated with the forces. For

instance, the “Top Secret” font would be better suited to this particular add in terms

of discussing world takeover.

Idea Three

Use imagery of a child opening a gift to realize he/she has a can of IRN-BRU, have a traditional Christmas theme in the background so that the

message is easily recognizable.I’m going to use fonts typically associated with Christmas to fit with the overall theme, the font will be a mixture of blue and orange and I will change the traditional colours of red and green to the IRN-BRU colour

scheme.

I’m going to change the saying “My 1st Xmas” to “My 1st IRN-BRU” in the

main tagline so that I can connect the product and the campaign

together and also associate it will the child opening a can of IRN-BRU.
