Whycan’tIseemycourse?Ifacourseyouareenrolledinisnotshowingupinyour‘CurrentCourses’:

appear,soitmayappearsoon.

HowdoIupdatemyMoodleprofile?Profileshelpbuildasenseofcommunityinyourclass.YourMoodleprofilewillbeaccessibleinanycourseinwhichyouareenrolled,soyouneedonlycreateitonceandupdateitasneeded.Tovieworedityourprofile:

1. ClickonyourLoginname,whichappearsatthetopofyourMoodlescreen.

2. Clickonthe“Editprofile”tab.

3.Enteryourcontactinformationandaddsomeinformationaboutyourself(major,hobbies,etc)inthe“Description”box.

4.Addapictureofyourself.Thisisespeciallyhelpfulinonlinecoursessoothercourseparticipantscangettoknowyou.

5.Whendone,clickthe“Updateprofile”buttonatthebottomofthepage.

SubmittingAssignments

HowdoIsubmitanassignmentfile?Anassignmentthatrequiresyoutosubmitafile,suchasaWorddocumentforaresearchpaper,willhavean“Addsubmission”button:

1. Click“Addsubmission.”

2. Onthe“Addsubmission”page,click“Add…”tolocatethefileonyourcomputer,orsimplydraganddropyourfileintothe“Filesubmissions”box.

3. Afteryourfileisfinisheduploadingclick“Savechanges”.

HowdoIparticipateinaforum?Clickthe“Addanewdiscussiontopic”button,typeyoursubjectandyourmessage,andclick“Posttoforum.”Youmaybeaskedtoreplytotheprofessor’spostortoyourclassmates’post,asinthisexample:

SubmittingaTaskStreamAssignment1. Click on the TaskStream assignment link in your course. You will be directed to the

TaskStream submission page.

4. After you click on the work tab, there are three different ways to submit an assignment. You can either submit an attachment, text & image, or a video.

SubmittingaTurnitinAssignmentTurnitinfeatureshavebeenintegratedintoMoodleandcanbeusedwithTurnitinAssignments,Workshops,andForums.TomakeuseoftheTurnitinintegration,studentsarerequiredtoaccepttheTurnitinEnd-UserLicenseAgreementonetime.ThiswillgenerateyouruniqueTurnitinID.Youwillbepromptedtoaccepttheagreementpriortosubmittinganassignmentorstartinganewforumthread.

Clickthelinkandyouwillseeapop-upwindowwiththeUserAgreement.

Click“Iagree”.IfyoudonotagreeyouwillnotbeabletosubmittoaTurnitinassignmentorposttoaTurnitinforum.Ifyouaccidentallyclick“Idisagree”thepromptwillreturneachtimeyouattempttointeractwithaTurnitinactivityuntilyoudoagree.
