1.0 Project Background3SKO currently produces about 91.1 kblpd of net oil to MCOT, BCOT and MLNG in addition to about 702 mmscf/d of natural gas.

Current operating pipeline assets arising from integrity risk assessment / premature failures/degradations have been confirmed with high internal corrosion risk suspected arising from Microbially Influenced Corrosion (MIC)

For Pipeline Rehabilation Program, PCSB has awarded Petrofac RNZ to perform Pipeline Material Selection Study (PMSR) for PL-31

This study will determine the most optimum material to be used for the SKO pipeline rejuvenation for these pipeline.
