We have official begun our Capital Campaign!

Starting Goal: $2,000,000

Advantage Goal: $2,500,000

Miracle Goal: $4,000,000

In order to proceed with the construction plans for our new home, we have three goals for the campaign:

Our first goal is to bring people together to know each other, to share in fellowship and be together in faith and prayer.

Secondly, we have to raise at least $2 million for construction to commence. While remembering that the total cost of the project ex-ceeds $4 million.

Thirdly, we would like to see all parishioners make a sacrificial pledge for the building of our new parish church.

The weekend of June 9th and 10th, we will be Pledge Weekend. We ask that you prayerful consider how you will make a sacrificial

gift to support us in our dream of building a new church.

Pledge cards will be disturbed this weekend and will be received in the mail. We ask that you bring your completed pledge cards with you

on the weekend of June 9/10, 2018.

DEVELOPMENT NEWS

We are most excited to announce that the Diocese of Scranton has gifted us with beautiful church furnishings from the Cathedral of Saint Peter in Scranton. As the Cathedral is undergoing renovations to restore and enhance the exterior and interior of the building to include new sanctuary furnishings, Bishop Bambera is providing Most Holy Trinity Parish with the existing cathedral sanctuary furnishings for our new church. This gift conserves these beautiful pieces while at the same time helping us to reduce the expenses of our new church building. We are most grateful to Bishop Bambera for his thoughtfulness and continued support of our parish.

The Altar, the Ambo, the Baptismal Font, as well as other pieces from the Cathedral, will contribute greatly to the aesthetic and sacredness of our new church. We are working with our architects to weave seamlessly these fixtures into our worship space. These magnificent marble pieces capture well the dignity that should mark our liturgies and they show forth the beauty of their Maker and our Creator. Furthermore, incorporating these furnishings not only preserves their beauty and sacred function, but they also remind us of our unity with the mother church in Scranton.

Again we express our gratitude to Bishop Bambera for so kind a gift and we offer him our prayers as together we all strive to build up the Kingdom of God here in the Diocese of Scranton.

Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity

O God Almighty Father

O God Almighty Father, Creator of all things, The Heavens stand in wonder, While earth Thy glory sings.

Refrain: O most Holy Trinity, Undivided Unity; Holy God, Mighty God, God Immortal, be adored.

2. O Jesus, Word Incarnate, Redeemer most adored, All Glory, praise and honor, Be Thine, our Sov'reign Lord. (Refrain)

3. O God, the Holy Spirit, Who lives within our souls, Send forth Thy light and lead us

To our eternal goal. (Refrain)

All Creatures of our God and King

All creatures of our God and King, Lift up your voice and with us sing, Alleluia! Alleluia! Thou burning sun with golden beam, Thou silver moon with softer gleam!

Refrain: O praise Him! O praise Him! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Thou rushing wind that art so strong, Ye clouds that sail in heav’n along, O praise Him! Alleluia! Thou rising moon, in praise rejoice, Ye lights of evening, find a voice! R.

Thou flowing water, pure and clear, Make music for thy Lord to hear, O praise Him! Alleluia! Thou fire so masterful and bright, That givest man both warmth and light. R.

And all ye men of tender heart, Forgiving others, take your part, O praise Him! Alleluia! Ye who long pain and sorrow bear, Praise God and on Him cast your care! R.

Let all things their Creator bless, And worship Him in humbleness, O praise Him! Alleluia! Praise, praise the Father, praise the Son, And praise the Spirit, Three in One! R.

Song of the Body of Christ

Refrain: We come to share our story. We come to break the bread. We come to know our rising from the dead.

1. We come as your people. We come as your own. United with each other, love finds a home.

2. We are called to heal the broken, to be hope for the poor. We are called to feed the hungry at our door.

3. Bread of life and cup of promise, In this meal we all are one. In our dying and our rising, may your kingdom come.

4. You will lead and we shall follow. You will be the breath of life; living water, we are thirsting for your light.

5. We will live and sing your praises. “Alleluia” is our song. May we live in love and peace our whole life long.

Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty!

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee; Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty! God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!

Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore Thee, Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea; Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee, Who was, and is, and evermore shall be.

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! All Thy works shall praise Thy Name, in earth, and sky, and sea; Holy, holy, holy; merciful and mighty!God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament Monday 4:00-6:45pm Parish Chapel

Deuteronomy 4:32–34, 39-40 The Lord is God in the heavens above and on

earth below and there is no other.

Psalm 33 “Blessed the people the Lord has chosen to

be his own.”

Romans 8:14–17 You received a Spirit of adoption, through

whom we cry, “Abba, Father!”

Matthew 28:16–20 Baptizing them in the name of the Father,

and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Today’s readings marvel at how fortunate we are to be in a relationship with God. In the first reading,

Moses enumerates all the wonderful things that God has done for them, from creation to the rescue from

Egypt, to the gift of the Promised Land. St Paul writes that we are God’s sons and daughters by adoption.

Finally, in the last line of the Gospel, Jesus tells us, “I

am with you always, until the end of the age.”
