Your surgery is a tool to help control port ions and hunger, anymore thanyou need on your plate may just tempt you to eat for longer
Your meal should f it comfortably within the red zone and not piled high either…!!!
For Band Patients - This port ion is perfect when your band is optimally adjusted, if you eatthis size port ion and are hungry less than 4 hours then you might need a bigger port ion untilyour band is level is right for you…. You will get there
Downsize your fork, This will really help youcontrol those bite sizes
20Don’t exceed 20 minutes eating time if you have a band Bypass and Sleeve patients may need longer depending on The amount ate within this time 6”
Your bitesize should be the size of a 20p
Stay focused and plan ahead…… Remember texture texture texture…..!!!!!!

Water….. Water….. Water…….Health Authorities commonly recommend approx.
2litres of water a day….. Do you achieve this..??
2 litres is approx.8 glasses of water(8 ounce glass)
Have a read of ”Simple Water” in the Library to give you tips and ideas on how to hit your daily quota.
Unfortunately with a band you are not ableto gulp….. So keep a drink by you always andsip continuous throughout the day….
Don’t forget to print off a Copy of ”My Diary”This allows you to monitor Your fluid intake daily……
