Introduction The Motor Carrier Portal allows you to view all of your license and permit information, including statuses, with the

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC). Additionally, you can manage your contact information all in one place, view

helpful links and announcements, and contact KYTC for any questions. Over time, the Motor Carrier Portal will be

expanded to provide additional, improved ways of doing business online with the KYTC. These enhancements will be

announced on the Motor Carrier Portal in the ‘Announcements’ section prior to their release.

Registering for the Motor Carrier Portal Important Note: Before using the Motor Carrier Portal, all users must complete a one-time registration.

1. Go to https://apps.transportation.ky.gov/MotorCarrierPortal/. You will be taken to the Kentucky One Stop page.

2. Below the sign in area you will see "Click here to create one." Click the link to register your account.

3. Enter the requested information, including username, display name, first name, last name, emailaddress, and password

4. Confirm the email address and password.

5. Click the Create Account button.

6. After clicking the "Create Account button you will be taken to a screen showing the message above.

7. After completing the application you will need to check your email used to register the account.8. You will receive an email like the one shown above.

If you do not see an email in your Inbox be sure to check your spam folder.9. To finish the registration click the link "Click here to activate your account."

10. After clicking the link in your email it will bring you back to the KY Business One Stop login page.11. Go ahead and login using your username and password you previously set up.12. After logging in you will see a page like the one shown below.13. Once you are logged in you can go to the Motor Carrier Portal by clicking the Motor Carrier

Portal (MCP) link on the lower right side of the KY Business One Stop page, or visithttps://apps.transportation.ky.gov/MotorCarrierPortal/
