Think an internshipwould be beneficial?
We agree.
A few places our students have interned in the past 5 years:
MMC faculty are passionate about finding meaningful internship opportunities for their
students. Our Career Center is another valuable resource available for assistance.
“To actually work hands-on in the nursing field so early really helped me understand the material we were learning in class. It gave me a good taste of what my future career would be like and assured me that I was makingthe right decision.”
“As the marketingmanager at KPI-JCI, I am responsible for working withparticipants of our internship program. We’ve had interns from various institutions, but the quality of students that have come to us from Mount Marty is exceptional. I don’t hesitate to give them challenging and difficult projects. I have yet to be let down, and I’m blown away by their abil ity to excel in the workplace.”

From water recreation along the Missouri River and the Lewis and Clark Lake, to outdoor festivals, concerts and a historic downtown district, Yankton offers you a welcoming place to call home. Yankton’s thriving community continues to defy the national economic trend, adding new businesses each year that give students increased internship and service opportunities. These attributes make it an ideal location for our liberal arts college.
Some days you may just feel like staying home, too [home being campus, of course]. Located in the middle of our intimate campus, the Cyber Café is our central hub.
