Program Outline: Mount St Mary College in partnership with EF Education first is pleased to offer a 3-week summer
program designed specifically for students interested in a short-term Language Study Abroad
experience while earning academic credits (three credits in three weeks).The program focuses on
language acquisition with the perfect balance of daily language lessons and activities designed to
immerse you in the local culture.

Pre-requisites: None Credits: Three Mount St Mary College Credits Course Description: This course offers students an international language learning and culture
immersion experience. The program includes 32 Spanish lessons a week within an optimal
technology driven learning environment. Your courses will be led by an EF certified local instructor, in
a technologically optimized facility, equipped with computer iLabs, free Wi-Fi and interactive
whiteboards. Communicative instruction is integrated with tablet-based activities to maximize
language learning. The course also includes Special Interest Classes which you will be choosing with
your instructor to fully personalize your program. Special Interest Class topics range amongst the
following areas: Culture and world issues; career and workplace; industry specific skills and art and

Program Outline: Mount St Mary College in partnership with EF Education first is pleased to offer a 3-week Summer
program designed specifically for students interested in a short-term Language Study Abroad
experience while earning academic credits (three credits in three weeks).The program focuses on
language acquisition with the perfect balance of daily language lessons and activities designed to
immerse you in the local culture.

About the Course:
Pre-requisites: None Credits: Three Mount St Mary College Credits Course Description: This course offers students an international language learning and culture
immersion experience. The program includes 32 Mandarin lessons a week within an optimal
technology driven learning environment. Your courses will be led by an EF certified local instructor, in
a technologically optimized facility, equipped with computer iLabs, free Wi-Fi and interactive
whiteboards. Communicative instruction is integrated with tablet-based activities to maximize
language learning. The course also includes Special Interest Classes which you will be choosing with
your instructor to fully personalize your program. Special Interest Class topics range amongst the

following areas: Culture and world issues; career and workplace; industry specific skills and art and
creativity.
