An introduction to a young Guamanian woman, Joni, who is enamored with a book about Guam. She has never been to the island, we are not exactly sure where she is but there is a bus that transports her to her home and from the NAVY recruitment office. We encounter young dancers (high-school) on the bus who burst into dance sequence in the finale.There are three generations of Chamorro women: Joni, her mother and her grandmother.
