Multihead control operation modes

Movetech has developed a powerful user interfaceapplication able to store & play preset shots indifferent modes. The graphical user interfacedisplays thumbnails corresponding to the storedpositions as an intuitive reference for the user.Up to hard-disk capacity limit multi-axis headthumbnails positions can be stored and playedcategorized in Programs.

Movetech heads under application control havetwo automatic operating modes:

Automatic movement with linearprofile

Users store shots and their corresponding digitizedimages as thumbnails. When the head is orderedto reach the stored shot, the head calculatesthe shortest way to get that position, movingthe head axis simultaneously. Also, user is ableto select sets of two thumbnail positions: STARTand END positions and associate a selectabletransition time between them.

Record of the joystick movement &play

Meanwhile the user is manually operating thejoysticks, the system records samples every multi-axis position. Once the array is stored, the usermay order to play the stored sequence with highrepeatability precision.

Simultaneous Automatic & Manual Control Operation

The user interface allows simultaneous automatic movements over the different heads at thesame time. The movements are triggered via the touch-screen or mouse. At the same time, theapplication allows manual operation over the selected head using the console joystick.

In stand-alone mode the user is able to control upto 4 heads. Head selection is achieved throughselectors available on the console. Feedback isdisplayed on a LCD display.
