MPVTP. Vertical single stage or multistage pump with mixed or axial flow impeller design,

broad hydraulic coverage provides best selection to meet specific operating

conditions. Fabricated or cast iron, surface or underground discharge head, shaft

and bearing combinations promote long life with options of open or enclose line

shaft construction. It can be driven by VHS NEMA Standard motor, VSS motor or

diesel engine through right angle gear box.

General Technical Specification: • Capacities up to 5000 m3/h (22,000 Usgpm).

• Heads up to 350 meters (1148 Ft).

• Motor Power from 5.5 Kw (7 HP) to 1600 Kw (2144 HP).

• Rated Voltage: 380V, 480V, 2.3Kv, 4.16Kv, 10Kv, [50/60Hz].

• Temperatures up to 500° F (260° C)

• Bowl sizes from 150mm (6”) to 1375mm (55”)

• Well Diameter from 100mm (4”) to 950mm (38”).

• Discharge Diameter from 150mm (6”) to 650mm (26”).

New Generation of Pumps

The three different pump models in the Vertical Turbine Line

have Hydraulics designs that have efficiencies rates of 4 – 8

% higher than previous designs.

IntMPE Vertical Turbine covers a range of flow conditions up

to 5000 m3/h @ 350 M TDH. This covers most industry

needs with optimum efficiency.

IntMPE flexibility of design allows the use of a wide range of

materials and design features to meet the custom

requirements of the user. No matter what the

requirements, whether low initial cost, ease of

maintenance, optimum efficiency or tough service

conditions, IntMPE can make the pump to best satisfy the

requirements.

This bulletin is designed to assist the used in selecting the

pump for the conditions required, however, any question

will be answered promptly by IntMPE Technical Support

Team.

IntMPE Deep Well MPVTP Pumps can be equipped with

Whirl Sand Devices and the maze-like structure which

makes sand not enter the bearings. Shaft alignment is done

by Infrared method to ensure best operation and service

life.

Columns

Column Sections are provided with flanged ends incorporating fits for ease of alignment during assembly. This

facilitates disassembly where corrosion is a problem. Our Standard bearing retainers are welded into the

Column Section.

Open Line-Shaft Bearing

Flanged column / product lubricated line-shaft is

recommended for ease maintenance or whenever a

special bearing material is required. Keyed line-shaft

coupling available in all sizes for ease of maintenance.

Various bearing materials are available. Renewable

shaft sleeves or hard facing of shaft available for longer

life.

Open Line-Shaft Bearing

The Line-Shaft is protected by water flushing the

enclosing tube bearing or corrosive and/or

abrasive services. Oil Lubricated line-shaft available

on long settings. Alignment is attained by register

fit between the flange faces.

Threaded Line-Shaft Coupling

Threaded line-shaft coupling is commonly used for

lower horsepower pumps. It is less expensive.

Keyed Line-Shaft

Keyed Line-shaft coupling is recommended for motors

larger than 500 HO. It provides easier maintenance.

Rigid Flanged Coupling (Type AR) To couple pump to vertical hollow shaft driver. Impeller adjustment is performed on adjusting nut located on top of motor.

Adjustable Coupling (Type A) For Vertical Solid Shaft driver, Impeller adjustment made by using adjustable plate in the coupling.

Adjustable Spacer Coupling (Type AS) Same function as type A coupling with addition of spacer. Spacer may be removed for Mechanical Seal Maintenance without Disturbing

Driver.

Couplings

Discharge Heads

The discharge head functions to change the direction of flow from vertical to horizontal and to couple the pump to the system piping in addition to supporting and aligning the driver. Discharge head accommodates all modes of drivers including hollow shaft and solid shaft motors, right angle gears, vertical steam turbines, etc. Optional sub-base can be supplied. intMPE offers three basic types for maximum flexibility.

Fabricated Discharge Head For pressures exceeding cast head limitations or services that require alloy construction such as high or low temperature or corrosive services. Segmented elbow available for efficiency improvement. Base flange can be machined to match ANSI tank flange.

Discharge Head MPT MPT can also be supplied as MPL with the Pump Suction in the can. This Head type will provide suction in one side and discharge on other side.

Below Ground Discharge Head Use whenever the pump is required to adapt to an Underground discharge system to keep the Discharge Head on top for easier access.
