Mr. Akshinthala Seshu Babu, New Delhi, came to N.M.S.S. Vellaichamy Nadar College tocreate a Guinness World Record by standing motionless like Mahatma Gandhi for 38continuous hours and 45 minutes. He chose to stand like Mahatma Gandhi in order to spreadhis principles and dogma to the society. The college’s NCC Cadets, The Virutcham Trust andThe Management of the N.M.S.S.V.N. College, organized the event. Mr. S. Bharath, I.R.S,Commissioner of Income Tax, Madurai, inaugurated the event. All the college students, thesurrounding college and school students and the general public, around 12,000 peoplewitnessed the Guinness World Record in making.
