WELCOME TO THE MR. BASKETBALL & MISS BASKETBALL DUSTER DUNKFEST! We are excited to have 62 teams participating in the Duster Dunkfest, spanning from Kansas to Firth, Nebraska!

COACHES PASSES: Coaches must checkin upon arrival to pickup their wristband at the admission’s table at the site of their first game. Our staff will put a wristband on you that will be your admission to the gym each day. These will only be available at the site of the first game you will be coaching. Do not remove the wristband until you have completed your final game. Altered or removed wristbands will not be honored. Limit of 2 coaches per team, additional coaches must pay the daily admission fee.

Saturday games are designated with SAT followed by the time and court. Sunday games are listed as SUN followed by the time and court.

Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for yourth in kindergarten thru 8th grade. This admits them to all sites for all games during the day. There are no single game tickets. Please read and be aware of the rules. Clock operators and scorekeepers will be provided for all games, but the top team in the bracket, or first team listed in a shootout, should be prepared to provide one person to sit at the table and assist with the score book if necessary.

Duster Dunkfest Rules• Teamsshouldbeatthegamesitereadytoplay30minutespriortogametime.Gameswillstartearlywhen possible.

• Outofrespectfortheteamsplaying,playerswaitingforthenextgameare encouraged NOT to shoot during timeouts and halftime.

• 8minutequarters-theclockwillstoponallFREE THROWS, TIMEOUTS, and INJURIES. The clock will stop on all whistles the last minute of each quarter.

• 2timeoutsperhalf.Eachoneminuteinlength.Nocarryovertoovertime.

• Overtimewillbetwominutes,startingwithjumpball.Onetimeoutperteam.Clockstopsonallwhistlesthelastoneminute.Iftiedattheendofovertime,ajumpballwillbeheldtostartsuddendeathovertime(no longer than four minutes, clock does not stop), no timeouts in sudden death. If tied after four minutes, best of 5 free throws will determine the winner. The players on the court at the end of the game will each shoot one free throw. The visiting team will shoot their five first.

• Teamsmayonlypresstoa10 point lead. No full court press allowed in these divisions: 3rd Boys and 4th/5th Girls. Press allowed in all other brackets.

• Clock rules in games with no press allowed: In the last :30 seconds of the game, if the score is within 5 points, after a dead ball the clock does not start until the ball is controlled in the front court (since there is no full court press). This is true also after a missed free throw in the last :30 seconds. *If the score is above 5 points, the clock runs normally when the ball is in play, if the score then gets below 5 points the clock will not run until ball is in front court.

• Teamsmustprovidetheirownbasketballsforwarmups.Gameofficialswillselectagameballtobeused from the warmup balls belonging to the teams playing.

• PlayersmayonlyparticipateonONEteamperevent.

• Inthefourteamshootouts,theteamwiththebestwin-lossrecordwillbethechampion.Ifthereisatwo-way tie, it will be broken by head-to-head results. If there is a three-way tie, the team allowing the fewest points scored in all games will be the highest place team, additional places will be determined by head-to-head results.

• Theabovetie-breakerwillbeusedtodetermineseedsinthe6-teamdivisions.

• Inthe5-teamdivisions,thefollowingtie-breakerwillbeused:1)Record(winningpercentage),2)Headto Head (if only 2 teams), 3) Fewest points allowed, 4) Coin Flip. If you have any questions, talk to a site supervisor.

• Allotherhighschoolfederationrulesapply.Alldecisionsbythegameofficialsandtournamentstaffare final.
