Mr Blake’s class work: week 7- June 2nd to June 5th. Hi all, I hope ye are keeping well during these unprecedented times. Try to stick to the timetable if possible for the benefit of a routine for the boys. The work assigned can be completed in their vocabulary copy or if you have a printer you can print the worksheets and fill them in. Ms. Walsh and Ms. Callaghan’s boys have separate documents to help them with this class work and everyone is welcome to use them. In Maths this week’s topic is Multiplication (pages 107-108 attached). Please read the example at the top of each page. Last week’s answers are attached. Remind the boys to rule their maths copy and write the page and number+letter of each sum. In Gaeilge we will read on a different topic each day and answer the questions orally each day from attached sheets. For English we will continue reading “Storm Chasers” on Oxford Owl. We are going to keep practising our spellings. See attached sheets. Please keep writing your diary entries daily in a copy. Remind them to practice neat handwriting at all times. There is a 2 page literacy document (unit 14) below for reading comprehension and writing. For PE: We are going to do Athletics activities with a circuit on Friday. SPHE: We have 10 inspirational growth mindset phrases for the boys to read each day and an award and card for the boys to distribute. SESE: Rainforests. See document below. Religion: Practice the Our Father and Hail Mary prayers. Read attached document about St. Kevin p75 Grow In Love. Encourage the boys to keep washing their hands, keep social distancing and cough etiquette, and most importantly stay positive and keep smiling. Keep helping your parents with housework!
School Hub is on RTE at 11am and Cúla is on TG4 at 3pm.

Last week’s maths answers. It is good practice for the boys to check over their
own work and find where they made mistakes. This will also encourage neat
layout of their copies which aids their organisational skills.
Check your
answers!
