ActivityScenario: Imagine you are the principal of SHS and you

have been told that one extra-curricular activity must be cut due to the financial economic crisis facing Illinois high schools. It is your job to convince the school board, parents, students, and various other community members not to cut the extra-curricular activity of your choice.

To Do: Hand-write a paper, applying at least seven of the fourteen rhetorical devices that we discussed in class today convincing the school board to keep the activity of your choosing. (15 minutes)

When finished: When your paper is complete, trade with someone nearby and have them locate, underline, and label your rhetorical devices. (5 minutes)
