Each day your child will: 1. Reading Log- Read for 20 minutes and complete log 2. Math Review 3. Reading Fluency Your Child will have a spelling test on Friday. They need to be able to not only spell the words correctly, but identify the spelling pattern by sorting them correctly. Reading: “Growing Ideas about Characters Across a Series and Investigating Related Informational Topics.” Students will understand how patterns develop across a series, and how to predict patterns of behaviors of characters. Math: “Adding and Subtracting within 1,000.” Students will be able to use a variety of place value strategies to solve 3-digit addition and subtraction problems. Writing: “Writing about Reading.” Students
