MRS. SUKANYA PRESENTING TO MS. DEEPIKA
2
ike a concerned parent,
Wellspring Church for
the second time during this
pandemic pitched into the
life of New Life Community
College with true love and
concern to extend help to
the families of the needy
young people with another
relief kit. This help has
arrived in an unexpected
time and once again as a
surprise during the need.
From the first phase relief
kit distribution experience
and with more alertness to
protect ourselves, a team
was formed to plan and
execute the second phase
relief work. The team
headed by our former
student Mr. Samuel with his
wife Ms. Sukanya began the
work by getting quotations
from stores to select and
procure materials to make
relief kits for distribution.
Also it was decided to ask
young people to come to
college to receive the kit
instead of going to places as
we don’t know which area is
a containment zone.
The relief team was
overseen by Mrs. Victoria
our Life Skills Lecturer to
provide needed advise and
support to carryout out the
relief work. Materials were
purchased at New Mercy
Super Market identified by
Mr. Samuel. I could not be
present in any of the
distribution as you know
that the apartment in which
we live is restricted for

movement due to an
infected resident. Along with
other 21 families we were
also not permitted to step
out of our doors for three
weeks.

were provided with relief

CONCLUSION: In a pandemic time like this while the
whole world is exploring ways to protect
themselves and their loved ones, here is our parent
Church Wellspring reacted beyond their protection
and proved their love in action like this. Instead of
mere words, you have showed your prayers in
action. What you would ask Jesus to do for us, you
have done it thorough His House.
We are thankful for the visits made by Mr. Herbert
Speer in the year 2007 and Mr & Mrs. Bob and Sandy
Dring four times during these years and our dear
Pastor. Wesley Zinn’s visit in Jan 2019. These visits
from Wellspring Church has strengthened NLCC and
the mentoring which we have received over these
years made us into what we are now.
We are thankful for your prayers for the work of
NLCC among young people. Also thankful for the
regular support to help us meet our unbudgeted
needs and also to pay the land instalments to have
a own facility NLCC.
As you pray for us, the Lord is doing many great
things among us. So far in 13 years we have reached
about 1750 people with the love of Jesus Christ and
32
now we have begun the admission work for the 14th
Academic year. Besides creating Nurses Aids,
Graphics designers, Nursery Teachers, Computer
Hardware technicians, the Lord has selected many
from NLCC to work for Him in His kingdom. Please
pray that the Lord would give us sufficient number
of students this year to serve for them.
As we once again thank the entire Wellspring
community for making this 2nd phase COVID19 relief
work possible, we also take this opportunity to
thank Pas. Wesley Zinn, Pas. Rick Mckinniss, Sis.
Jaisy Martin and Sis. Val Vujus and The Missions
Board for considering our request and extending
this timely help to the much needed young people
and to their families. We assure our sincere prayers
to each one of the Wellspring members as we all
look for a way our from this Pandemic. Thanks.
Yours Sincerely,
Sam Sunder Singh.
