• I graduated from Stevenson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.

• I am taking classes at McDaniel College for my Graduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction right now. I am also teaching and MSDE class for new teachers.

• This is my 7th year of teaching.

• I was nominated for FCPS Teacher of the Year for 2016-2017.

• I have taught 3rd grade and 2nd grade.

• I am the 2nd grade team leader.

• I will graduate from Hood College this spring with a Bachelor’s degree in both Elementary Education and Special Education.

• I have interned in multiple schools in grades 1, 3, 4, and a Special Education classroom.

• I am the lead teacher of the toddler program at a private daycare in Howard County.

Each night your 2nd grader will have the following homework: -Reading (guided group book in yellow reading bag) -Math (homework journal)

It should only take your child 15 minutes to complete

homework. There will be no homework on Fridays.

Please be sure your child’s stickers are correct for the way your child will be getting home.

-If the labels are correct, please take these with you. Your child should wear these labels every day for the first week.

-If the labels are incorrect, head to the tables with gold balloons to get these corrected.

Attendance is very important.

We need your child here each day, in order to participate in the wonderful

learning taking place.

Title 1 InformationYou should have received a copy of the Title 1 brochure and the Title 1 compact

in your packet. Both are available online and at the front office. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. Be sure to stop by our new parent resource room in the

specials wing.

If it is, write ok in the upper right hand corner if not, please fix.
