★ My favorite book when I was a student was The Great Gatsby. One of my favorite authors is Malcolm Gladwell.

★ I am excited to teach MS for the 1st time! I taught HS for 13 years prior. I hope to learn many new things, and to meet new people.

★ A fun fact about me is I am releasing a new cd next month and I am very excited about it!

Hey Mustangs!★ I have two roles here at Wood,

secretary and lunch hour aide.★ My favorite thing to do is watch

my children compete in sports.★ One of my favorite books is The

Pelican Brief by John Grisham.★ For this year, I plan to learn as

much as possible and get to know the team I’ll be working with. I’ll also work on cultivating positive relationships with staff and students.

★ I can’t wait to meet everyone.

Ms. Dawson Hey Mustangs!★ I teach 6th grade digital literacy

and advanced English.★ My favorite thing to do is run.★ My favorite kid’s book is Shiloh

by Phyllis Reynolds. I also loved reading the Hunger Games.

★ My hope for this year is that we will stay well and learn a lot along the way!

★ I went to Wood Middle School when I was young!

Mr. Lee Hey Mustangs!★ I teach physical education part

time at Wood. This will be my first year teaching.

★ One of my favorite things to do is head to the beach and eat a crab buffet.

★ One of my favorite books is Winesburg, Ohio by Sherwood Anderson.

★ My hope for this year is to get acclimated to teaching, teaching virtually, and teaching virtually at 2 schools.

★ I'm looking forward to the year even amidst all the craziness!

in the autism program.★ One of my favorite things to do

is read, especially novels.★ One of my favorite books is

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and I like the movie, too!

★ My hope for this year is to have a good and safe school year.

★ I also love spending time with my dog.

Innovative Minds.★ I love to read, cook, and travel.★ One of my favorite books is To

Kill a Mockingbird.★ For this year, I hope that despite

the distance, I can get to know my colleagues and students and start to build meaningful relationships!

★ I really love hand lettering (modern calligraphy) and I've recently gotten into watercolors. I find it super fun and relaxing!

science, history, and resource classes.

★ I love teaching! I also enjoy watching sports such as football and basketball as well as coaching.

★ Some of my favorite books are Nate the Great and the Harry Potter series.

★ For this year, I hope to build strong connections with my contemporaries and the students.

★ I played college football at Salisbury University!

time outdoors, swimming, and reading and I love to dance.

★ My favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird and my favorite authors are Maya Angelou and Phillipa Gregory.

★ My hope for this year is to get to know everyone as best I can in distance learning.

★ I teach 6/7/8 Computer Science Discoveries and 7/8 Foundations of Computer Science.

★ I love the outdoors, especially swimming, biking, and kayaking.

★ This summer I really enjoyed reading Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens.

★ My hope for this year is to build relationships and instill a joy of learning computer science with my students and to meeting and getting to know the Wood staff and community.

★ I'm looking forward to teaching middle school computer science again after teaching high school computer science for 10 years!
