• You work under supervision and independently to develop creative ideas into a practice based portfolio.

• Work relates concretely to research proposed in level 2 (MS2306) and continued in level 3 (MS3307).

• Referring to the user experience design model introduced by JJ Garret (see reading list) you will produce a document that covers each of the five elements listed on next slide.

• You will need to refer to the original text and discuss each stage with your supervisor before starting out.

• The final documents should function as a working document which visibly supports cw2 practical work.

• One copy to the first supervisor, the other to the second supervisor.

CW2: Practical Implementation of Design

Weighted at 40% overall Friday 16th-May-14 (Student show - tbc)

• Final submission of all production work following the student show on Friday 16-May-14

• Discuss appropriate submission with supervisors. Typically though, submit two CD-ROMs - One to the first supervisor, the other to the second supervisor. The CDs must include clearly labelled and organized file structures using recognized conventions. Each CD will contain:

• A copy of the project work including all relevant production files, examples of coding, assets and preproduction documentation. The files MUST BE structured according to conventions and accessibility. Poor organization will result in non-submission.

• The practical must have a web presence and a URL. For example, a Wordpress blog that accompanies and traces the research project.

• Demonstration of effective use of multimedia authoring tools and other application used in the production
