MSS FIRST GENERATION STUDENT RESOURCES The MSS Task Force on First Generation Students has compiled this list of regional resources for first generation students, researchers and educators. Students who are first in their family to attend college may face specific obstacles. Fortunately, there are an increasing amount of resources available for first generation students. MSS has provided conference programming, networking and resources concerning this important issue. This latest effort is our “first edition” of regional resources; we intend to expand and update this list on a regular basis. Send an email to the chair of the committee if you have information to share: [email protected] Midwest Sociological Society Task Force on First Generation Students: Diane M. Rodgers (Chair), Patricia Maddox, Diane Jackson, Nicole Oehmen Flavio Leanos-Macias, Elizabeth M. Lee, Carlene Sipma-Dysico, John Pruit Pernevlon Ellis, Jared Beasley, Julia Mendes, Aaron Padgett
