Creating Unity Environments with TerraTools

Correlate Unity with Other Simulation Runtimes through TerraToolsUsing TerraTools, you can create and export environments for Unity with a wide range of correlated visual, constructive, and serious game runtimes, including JCATS, JointSAF, OneSAF, and VBS3.

TerraTools compiles your GIS source data and 3D models into an efficient tiled scene graph (TSG), complete with textures and photo textures. The TSG can then be imported through TerraSim’s Unity plug-in in the standard Unity Pro game engine interface. Features, such as water effects and collision meshes, and support for large area environments can all be enabled through the plug-in. Other features, such as model adjustment and visual effects, can be set through the Unity Editor. Using the “TerraSim Fly” script, users can navigate and preview their 3D simulation environment.
