MSx WAN

What is SD-WAN?

SD-WAN is an acronym for Software-Defined Wide Area Network. It is a new approach to networking that allows creating a Wide Area Network without having to use specialized network connections. Most SD-WAN systems can connect to just about any type of Internet connection (MPLS, Fiber, DSL, Cable, 4G, etc.).

MSx WAN - Highlights

• Customized prioritization

• Forward Error Correction (FECN) improves circuit performance and reduces jitter and packet loss

• High availability / 4G LTE options

• Third-party vendor support option

• All internet transport options are supported (EoX, TDM, DSL/Cable, 4G LTE, etc.)

• Flexibility to leverage any Internet access regardless of service provider

• MPLS traffic encrypted with VPN access to TPx’s MPLS network

• Dynamic edge-to-edge communication via IPSec VPN connectivity

• Leverage total bandwidth of dual Internet connections.

• Failover options in the event of an unplanned circuit outage are bi-directional (both circuits back up each other)

• TPx gateways on TPx’s own network with support for inbound Internet failover (currently no other providers offer this)

• U.S. based Network Operations Center (NOC) staffed with engineering resources 24x7x365

MSx Backups

What is a backup?

A backup is a copy of one or more files created as an alternate in case the original data is lost or becomes unusable. Today that can also include entire computer disks and complete virtual machines.

However, backups are not enough as you also need the ability to recover the data to get you back up and running, so what is really needed is backups + disaster recovery.

MSx Backups - Highlights

• Onsite and cloud backups

• Unified backup and disaster recovery solution

• Off-site retention of backups to cloud environment

• AES/SSL encryption during both transmission and cloud storage

• Optional AES encryption of local backups (on some models)

• Inverse Chain technology improves reliability of backups

• Backup screenshot verification

• Fast failback bare metal restores

• Disaster recovery virtualization

• Bandwidth optimization

• End-to-end encryption
