Urban Green Energy Advantage Vertical Axis Wind Turbines

•VAWTs are not affected by the direction of the wind which is useful in areas where

the wind changes direction frequently or quickly. Unlike traditional horizontal axis

wind turbines no mechanism is needed to turn the wind turbine towards the wind

meaning better performance in areas where a tall tower isn't feasible, obstacles are

nearby, or the wind is more turbulent.

•VAWTs are better able to harvest turbulent air flow found around buildings and

What if I have solar panels; can I connect the wind turbine to the same system?

Yes, the can be ordered with a hybrid controller so depending on your solar system, They can often connect right into the

same system. Or pick yourself up some solar panels to add to your new eddy system!

Who can I turn to with technical questions?Every customer is assigned one of UGE's specialist who will be there to quickly answer any questions that you have.

How difficult is it to install?

They comes with a comprehensive installation manual and is specifically designed so that it is easy to assemble and install. Our goal is nothing short of providing the most simple installation instructions in the market.

Who will install?

We purposely make them as easy to install as possible. In fact, assembling the 600type can take as little as 30 minutes. Many

of our customers will contact one of our local distributors to assist with assembly and installation, but a local contractor canmost often install eddy as well.

What do I need to do to make sure the turbine stays in good shape?

They are easy to check up on. We require that once per year all of the turbine bolts are checked to ensure they are still secure.

No major maintenance is expected throughout the turbine 20 year life.

When will the turbine arrive?

After confirming your order it will be approximately eight weeks until the turbine arrives on your door step.

What is the turbine life expectancy?They have been engineered to live at least 20 years and comes with a warranty for its first three years.
