1 VOCABULARY

CTD+: Data transfer key.

2 SPECIFIC TOOLS

 CTD+ USB cable

3 UPLOADING EXCEL FILES

3.1 API ETALCOMPT, ALMASCOPE and BLENDER

At the end of a verification exercise with an API ETALCOMPT, an ALMASCOPE or an ETALCOMPT BLENDER, the data backup is made as follows: • Retrieve the measurement results of the ETALCOMPT by using the CTD+ • Connect the key to the PC with an USB cable • Open the file on the CTD+

ALM00xxxxx.xls for the ALMASCOPE, MEL00xxxxx.xls for the MELANGEUR API00xxxxx.xls for the API ETALCOMPT

(xxxxx is the reference standard) If the dialog box ‘Missing or not compatible file’ opens, csv files are missing on the CTD+ (P, E or J for the API ETALCOMPT). Those files are useful for retrieving data in the Excel file

• Name the Excel file and save it on the computer as: A 97-2003 Excel file (*.xls) to save macros. When you open the file again if the

csv files are missing, the dialog box ‘Missing or not compatible file’ should open, then click on OK OR

A Open XML Strict spreadsheet (*.xlsx) to save the Excel format without macros OR

PDF file (*.pdf) to save the file into a non-editable format. • Close the CTD+ and disconnect it.

3.2 LPG ETALCOMPT+

At the end of a verification exercise with an LPG ETALCOMPT+, the data backup is made as follows: • Retrieve the measurement results of the ETALCOMPT by using the CTD+ • Connect the key to the PC with an USB cable • Copy the CTD+ files to a folder you have created on your computer Note: The file named Master.xls must never be modified. It must remain in the same folder as the file named GPL00xxxxx.xls. • Close the CTD+ and disconnect it

• In the computer folder, open the file named GPL00xxxxx.xls which is automatically updated. The table is titled: ‘liste des fichiers créés d’après les vérifications effectuées avec l’ETALCOMPT GPL+’. This list comprises the names of the reports for each meter verified at a given date. For example 123ab94_20160318.xls is the name of the verification report of the meter #123ab94 for tests performed on the 18th of March, 2016.

• Verification reports are saved in the folder named Vehicles. Open the relevant file 123ab94_20160318.xls for example Note: the folder Vehicles is automatically created on opening the file named GPL00xxxxx.xls. If it has already been created on the computer, its content is not erased.

• These reports can be renamed and saved in another folder on the computer. They can be saved as: A 97-2003 Excel file (*.xls) to save macros. When you open the file again if the

csv files are missing, the dialogue box ‘Missing or not compatible file’ should open, then click on OK OR

A Open XML Strict spreadsheet (*.xlsx) to save the Excel format without macros OR

PDF file (*.pdf) to save the file into a non-editable format.
