Construction equipment (Excavator) Tool box DCPD’s mechanical material property & moldability are superior so it is possible to manufacture the product
with a refined design. As a result, it is widely used for industrial applications such as automotive interior, heavy
equipment and agricultural machinery.
What is DCPD (Dicyclopentadiene)?
DCPD is a thermosetting resin which facilitates the forming of large and complicated products in short periods
of time. Using the reaction injection molding (RIM) method, DCPD liquids are mixed, going through the
polymerization process in the mold, and then become the form of the desired product.
Merits• Large mold : Low-viscosity material makes it easy to manufacture larger and more complex products.
• Light-weight : Low specific gravity(1.03) based raw material improves the fuel e�ciency and reduce
the emission.
• Shock resistance : Achieves shock tolerance without adding glass fiber.
• Low temperature characteristics : Low impact strength adaptable to - 40°C
• Productivity : Short response time saves related costs.

What is SMC?
SMC stands for ‘sheet molding compound’
It is the sticky sheet made from the unsaturated polyester mixing material & resin based
compound and fiberglass. The sheet is formed into a desired shape through the curing & press process.
SMC is a thermosetting special compound.
Merits• Dimensions stability : Excellent dimensional stability due to low retraction rates after molding.
• Outstanding for use in electrical properties, such as insulation resistance, arc-resistance, and heat resistance.

properties of thermosets. Composite part made from PU Prepreg for both structural applications and exterior
visible applications. PU Prepreg o�ers high ductility and superior surface quality and is very well suited for
