According to one of the journalists of Wall street journal, “green jobs” are not more than just a talk to provide sufficient employment; instead other non-renewable approaches are earning job opportunities for the people. Oil and gas industry is playing a role of mainstream for job creation in US. He criticizes the policies of Obama administration regarding this issue. He believes that the idea of producing energy by using domestic means is a good cogitation to gain better economic position and to create more job opportunities, but for that Obama would have to reconsider his mistaken thinking that only green jobs can provide considerable amount of jobs. Oil and gas industry is reviving the employment rate to quite considerable extent. The writer gives the reference of Bureau of labor statistics which states that unemployment rate in US has reached almost 9%.The writer admits it but at the same time admires the fact that oil and gas industry is contributing heavily towards the job creation. In North Decota oil and gas formation has created almost 16000 current jobs whereas shale formation in Pennsylvania has resulted 18000 new jobs creation in the first 6 months of 2011. Energy firms are also expanding their businesses to other areas like Eastern Ohio and Texas etc. According to the author, perspective and thought of liberals is a detain to the progress of employment. These people never seem to face the truth of employment through the means of Oil and Gas formation.US can create 1.4 billion more jobs by 2030 if he adopts efficient federal energy policy according to the Wood McKenzie Consulting firm. This research seemed as a shocker to the averse who assumed that this survey would include all the direct and indirect jobs. But the liberals know all about it but they seem reluctant to express it which seems like an open joke. Liberals and democrats support Mark Zandi’s multiplier claims which say that current job plans of Obama will be efficient enough to create several as many as 1.9 million jobs, Including which almost 750000 jobs will be created by rising pay role tax which would imply on employees and employers. According to the writer this plan is suspected because all such multipliers never exist and liberals cannot treat the Government dually to earn some benefits for private businesses. Anyways Oil and Gas boom is happening as everybody can see. And it is almost certain that if Obama administration comes down to the right job creation plan by admitting the Oil and Gas boom, US will be able to produce good number of employments in this area. As these companies are spreading the oil and gas field work with more innovative methods and technology to other areas so it will also expand the job net. According to the writer, earlier this month there was a Indeterministic plan designed out by Interior department in terms to attain better achievement for “green jobs” but unfortunately jobless trend in bitter reality. They have delayed the process of Keystone XL gas pipeline across Canada and Gulf. This keystone xl pipeline was a good initiative to create almost 20,000 new jobs relating to the manufacturing and jobs relating pipeline’s assembly and maintenance for long life etc. The writer states a controversial initiative of Obama’s administration, a green energy project commenced by Obama administration named Solyndra on which US

government conferment almost 535 million dollars just to change the dream of green energy production into absolute truth which may create number of job opportunities whereas according to a study by Natural resources Revenue, the federal revenue amount declined to 36 million from 9.5 billion for lease sales. Obama administration is just dreaming of green energy revolution meanwhile spending useless amount of money on such projects and hence alleviating the job opportunities. It was reported by Washington Post that US would have got almost 65000 jobs if Obama wouldn’t passed the bill of 38.6 billion dollars for green energy loans just to create 3500 jobs. According to the writer, to create meaningful employment opportunities, Obama should reconsider his policies and look for the wealthy initiatives of domestic fossils for energy production instead of going deep into slumber of green energy revolution which is never going to happen.

This article has helped me collect some very useful facts to write my personal response. The article is to the point and focuses on Obama’s policies on green jobs. Well, I strongly support and agree with this particular writing. This article helped me examine the negative aspects of replenishing the use of nonrenewable energy projects and preferring green energy to consider it better to create sufficiently required job opportunities. This can never happen. Any country cannot just quit the cheapest resources and go for the expensive approaches but “green” to create “green job” opportunities. From the facts and figures given in the article, it can be clearly derived that Green project never earns good number of jobs. The reason behind is that most of the “green” projects run on automated systems in which employees are always needed in less numbers. Hence it needs big hand on budget but it produces fewer employments which is never implementable to make it worthy in terms of job creation. The loan guarantees of 38.6 billion dollars are turning out to be a severe scandal in US against Obama administration. According to the study this loan has demised almost 62000 job opportunities which may have been created with this heavy investment on some other project like Oil and gas production instead of investing on a green but useless project called Solyndra. Obama administration is making false decisions to create jobs. It may be a result of being panic but delay of Keystone xl project and also solyndra scandal has urged the economists protest against Obama’s policies since it is killing jobs for people. Otherwise Keystone xl project would have earned almost 22000 jobs, which was to be a good move for employment. I believe that Obama administration is destroying America’s capacity to produce new jobs by just implying wrong policies on green projects. If America has to go further and create new jobs, it would need different vision and perspective to create jobs for its people.
