DA-PU100

Connect your facilities to the network easily!

Multi-hop PLC Adaptor

No need to install an exclusive line.

All you need is a power line for high-speed data communication.

Multi-hopping supports long-distance transmission even in a large factory or building.

Build a high-speed

network using your power line

In addition to Ethernet interface, RS-485 and USB interfaces are provided as standard.

The ability to connect legacy devices often found in workshops expands the scope of applications.

IP5X dust protected.

Ensures safe, reliable use even in a dusty environment in a factory/building or in a location where maintenance is not available for long periods.

• Communication may be delayed or become unavailable under certain operating environments. The distance and rate of communication vary depending on the connected devices and operating environment.

• Panasonic is not responsible for any loss of data and other direct or indirect damage caused by external factors such as power failures or noise on electrical wiring.

• This product is set as a “terminal” when shipped. When setting up a network using several of these products, one of them must be designated as the “master” using the specified software tool before use.

*1: The indicated value is the theoretical maximum. Actual speeds will be less than this value.*2: This value may differ based on the operating environment.*3: The maximum number of terminal adaptors may vary depending on the operating environment.*4: The recommended number when using a switching hub.*5: The communication distance and communication speed may vary depending on the connected devices and operating environment. Also, this product does not support high speed data transfer.*6: Web cameras, USB speakers, or other USB devices that use isochronous forwarding for real-time operation cannot be used with this product. Other USB devices might also not be usable depending on their driver specifications.*7: The number of devices that can be connected depends on the usage environment and the type of device.*8: The communication distance and communication speed may vary depending on the connected devices and operating environment. *9: This product uses the "Store and Forward" method, in which it accumulates commands/ responses and then forwards them. Therefore, some forwarding delay will occur.*10: The master/slave setting for RS-485 is separate from the MASTER/TERMINAL setting for PLC.*11: Shielded twisted-pair wiring is recommended.

Multi-hop technology is a type of communication in which multiple nodes or relays are used to expand the coverage area, facilitating transmission between terminals at greater distances. It is an applied technology of the CMSR (Centralized Metric-based Source Routing) adopted in the international standard ITU-T G.9905.
